Attractive and practical
This handles on this set of magnetic screwdrivers and 3 (non-magnetic) pliers are shaped so the tools fit into your hand very well. The set is very attractive and colorful, which helps to locate one of the tools if you put it down and can’t seem to find it. I’m always doing that. <G>The magnetic properties of the screwdrivers is enough to hold screws in place. It could be stronger, but it still works to assist when setting screws. The sturdy case has formed slots for the shape of each tool with a clear labeling of which tool belongs in which slot, providing the organization for which I am a bit lax when I’m done using tools. My favorite of the tools in the channel locks. The teeth are angled so they hold better on the edge of a nut or bolt. Also the locking slots have a unique design I’ve never seen before. Unlike the semi-circle grooves in my other channel locks where the tool can easily slip out of position, this set of channel locks has circular grooves with a round pin to keep the arms in the desired position until you are done. That slipping out of place with the old set was very annoying. The fact these tools have insulated handles puts this set over the top for me. I’m a bit of a klutz when working around electrical outlets, often getting shocks because I absent-mindedly neglect to cut the circuit before attempting a repair.

Ignore the tester probe and it's nice enough
First thing off the bat, I took everything out of this plastic case and got rid of it, right away. It didn't really secure the tools in there properly, but I also had a new electrician's backpack I needed to gear up. So in there the set goes. The tools all have the correct markings for their 1000V rating, and if I use them properly, I'll never have to test that out. ALWAYS TURN OFF THE POWER BEFORE DOING ELECTRICAL WORK! The handles are all comfortable, there was no rust out of the box, and I'll keep them lubed up to avoid it in the future.4/5

Great set of quality tools in a sturdy box
This is a great set of insulated electrician's tools in a good carry box for a reasonable price--especially considering the high quality of the tools. Each tool has 1000 volt rated insulation and handle guards to prevent slipping into a live connection. The assorted screwdrivers have insulated shafts and nicely cut tips. The pliers have straight and true jaws, solid joints and sharp cutters. Even the blown plastic case is top notch and holds each tool firmly. An excellent buy.

Great Little Basic Tool Kit
This is a good basic tool kit that comes in a nice plastic case and will be able to handle most any basic needs around the house. I will most likely give it to my daughter when she heads off to college next year to use wherever she lives at.

Kinda pricey, but good feeling set.
The worst tool in this is the "voltage test screwdriver." Sticking it in an electrical socket, it detected a couple times, and other times I had to twist it around for it to detect. The voltage light is so incredibly dim also, that you have to shadow it with your other hand to make sure it's lighting up.The best tool is the water pump pliers, which is the main reason I got this set because I don't currently have that type of pliers, and this one looks and feels well. It uses some sort of strange type of width adjustment that involves a semi-circle sliding in to several open slots. I've never seen it before, but it seems to work well. The grips for all tools are firm and feel sturdy. The thickness of them also gives some peace of mind that they won't conduct electricity. The case they come is is decent, BUT annoying. The pliers are on the upper lid part, but the case itself does not secure the pliers, so when you open it up, some of them fall down. The screwdrivers on the other hand are secured pretty well by the case, but they're already on the bottom. I suppose you could open it upside down, but when the box 'label' is on top, my inner OCD wants me to open it up that way.Overall, it's a nice insulated tool set. A little pricey, but it does offer some extra protection over basic tools, and it's a kit that comes with several useful tools.
