Brustro charcoal pencils... A game changer for Hyperrealism artists!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brustro charcoal pencils... A game changer for Hyperrealism artists!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As an artist deeply invested in hyperrealism, I’ve experimented with countless brands over the years—but after using Brustro charcoal pencils consistently for over a month, I can confidently say they’ve exceeded my expectations. I'm mainly impressed by the premium quality of the wood of the pencil, the High quality of lids and the mate finish which gives me a vibe of professional artist every time I hold it!! From the very first stroke, the richness and depth of the charcoal stood out. The pencils are smooth, responsive, and deliver an intense matte black that’s perfect for building deep contrast and intricate shading. Whether it’s the soft for blending, the medium for layering, or the hard for those crisp hairline details—each grade performs with precision and balance. What impressed me the most is how effortlessly these pencils elevate texture work—skin pores, hair strands, fabric folds—everything comes to life with stunning clarity. They don’t crumble excessively, and the control they offer is ideal for artists who work on fine details for hours. And even the white charcoal pencil works as a magic too which gives extra edition and magical effects in the details like watery eyes shines of hair. The different pigment of each pencils like soft, medium, and hard gives a 3D effect to my portrait which is just more than we could ever expect!! Brustro has truly nailed the balance between quality and affordability. After a full month of heavy use, the pencils have held up brilliantly without rapid consumption or splintering during sharpening. They’ve become an essential part of my toolkit, especially for portrait realism. If you're aiming for mind-blowing hyperrealistic results, Brustro Charcoal Pencils are absolutely worth investing in. They don't just meet professional standards—they inspire you to push your limits as an artist.

Great quality charcoal pencils for artists at any level! I recently tried the Brustro Artists Charcoal Pencil Set of 4, and I’m genuinely impressed. The pencils are smooth, easy to control, and offer great tonal range — from soft, deep blacks to lighter shading. They sharpen really well and don’t crumble like some other charcoal brands I’ve used. Perfect for sketching, detailing, and dramatic shading. I especially love how they handle blending and layering. The packaging is sleek and travel-friendly too. Highly recommend for artists, students, or anyone exploring charcoal mediums !

Good smudging capacity, worth buying
The soft charcoal pencil offers deep, rich black color, smudges easily. This is very useful for getting a good transition in neck and chick areas of a portrait. The hard one: I got a lighter, more controlled strokes and holds a sharp point well, making it excellent for detailed work and clean outlines. It’s less blendable compared to the softer grades, despite that it shows a good blending capacity. The medium pencil create a balance between softness and hardness. It provides good pigment density while maintaining control, making it a versatile tool for general shading and building mid-tones. It blends well and complements both soft and hard pencils. The white charcoal pencil has a slightly waxy feel but gives decent opacity Cons: You need to sharpen these pencils cautiously to avoid its breakable nature, specially the white one.
