Organic Chinese Hawthorn Fruit - You Ji Shan Zha - Cut Form, 1 Pound

Healthy Life Center is the only 100% organic Chinese Hawthorn Fruit I can find. For years, I used to purchase the Chinese Plum Flower Brand of hawthorn berries that were labeled sulfur-free, chlorine-free, and aluminum phosphate-free. Not available anymore. The label for Healthy Life Center's Hawthorn fruit doesn't mention anything about being free of sulfur, chlorine, and aluminum phosphate, so I'm hoping it is. I put some of the dried Hawthorn fruit in a #2 t-sac tea filter, rinse the filled t-sac with filtered water, and then place it in a borsilica glass pitcher filled with filtered water and then let it sit unrefrigerated for 30 minutes before bringing the water/filled t-sac to a boil. After bringing the water to a boil, I remove it from the heat and let it steep for a few hours before refrigerating. I always have 2 borsilica glass containers in the refrigerator with brewed Hawthorn berry tea which we drink cold or at room temperature daily. I brew a new batch every 2 or 3 days. It's not bitter and has a light refreshing taste. Hoping the threatened tariffs won't come to pass to further increase cost.

It works !!! Been making a tea out of it. Brings blood sugars down. Ate the fruit sometimes, threw it out other times. Really helped on 2 mo trip with uncontrolled diet. Careful that sugars don't get too low!

It is great quality product, I just wish it was a little affordable price.

These hawthorn berries seemed fresh and packed with nutrients. They are making a very red tincute which I’m looking forward to using. Great value!

I Use these berries as an addition to tea with goji berries. Packaging is good, keeps berries fresh.
