Overall the product works as intended. It is a bit heavier then I thought it would be, if your kiddo or elderly parents are going to use it keep that in mind. The leash gets stuck, easy enough fix, it just gets tangled around which is easy to untangle. Update: this feature has been fixed with a screw, customer service was amazing and reached out and sent a replacement. Definitely recommend just based of the customer service. Lastly the light is an awesome feature, although two days in and the part that keeps the batteries in place, is gone. I used it on a walk and then noticed it wasn't there. So now I have to tape it to keep the batteries from falling out.

It is not suitable for larger breeds such as German Shepherds due to the thinness of the leashes, but I appreciate the bag holder and light. Works great for smaller breeds.

I liked everything about it, including the little light on it. It’s very handy but my first one the walking mechanism jammed and stopped working. Hopefully that doesn’t happen with the new one because I really like this device. It gives him more room to run and I can see him in the dark without taking a big Flashlight

We bought this leash to allow our young corgi puppy some freedom on our walks, training, and potty breaks. We love that the extendable leash goes so far! It is great for training, especially for practicing recall. Because the leash goes so far, it is also great for winter and rainy day potty breaks, when you need to let your pup out but you want to stay inside the door. The leash length allows you to stick your hand out the door while giving your dog a long enough space to find a good spot to "go" in. The leash is also thick (width wise), so you don't have to worry about your dog snapping the leash if they pull really hard for any reason. I don't think it could withstand any chewing from any size dog, but if that is controlled then it is very safe for any dog who will be on the leash.
