This famous Bajan Gold Medal beverage and mixer, with a uniquely refreshing flavour was developed by John D. Taylor of Bridgetown, Barbados in 1890. Born and bred on the island of Barbados, this slightly alcoholic sugar cane based liqueur is a staple of every Bajan's bar. It's special taste comes from a refined infusion of lime laced with fine cane syrup and botanicals including almonds and cloves. I have been looking for this Falernum years, to my surprise whilst shopping on Amazon I found it. I was happy its a lovely liqueur and I mixed it with port wine and some ice for a great drink. I certainly will buy some more.

Excellent buy!
This is an essential ingredient for making tropical cocktails such as Bermuda planters punch or rum swizzles, and yet it can be hard to source from regular retail sellers. Also a great price! Will buy again from this source.
