TYG Tape On Window Visors Fits for 2014-2019 Mazda 3, Side Auto Window Wind Deflectors, Ventshade, Rain Guards for Cars/Trucks

I got these tape-on rain guards for my husband’s 2019 Hyundai Tucson. We cleaned the areas with alcohol very well before applying, the box did include some larger alcohol wipes and dry wipes but I still had to use our rubbing alcohol here at home. In the box were all 4 guards wrapped individually. I didn’t see where each one was marked for specific windows however it took seconds to figure out which ones went on what windows. Applying them was easy, we took our time to make sure they were straight and lined up correctly. The adhesive was strong on 3 guards but the driver’s side one had an area that refused to stick so we used a bit of glue in that non-sticking spot and it did the trick. We both love the way they look and we can now crack his windows for some fresh air without hearing the wind and without getting wet from precipitation. The price was perfect and the fit on his doors/windows didn’t leave any gaps and they’re barely noticeable, they fit so seamlessly and look better than I imagined they would. Other than one not fully sticking we haven’t had any issues yet.

These were easy to place and stock well and look good for now. I will give them a 4.

I’ve tried these before and had bad luck so I wanted to see if these were any different and sadly they weren’t. The fit for my 2010 Fusion is pretty good, but like in the past, you may need a heat gun to actually get them into the right spot to stick to the door frames and/or the car body. I had to use it on 3 of the 4 so that I could try and get a good enough grip. The second issue is that the tape they give is not quite strong enough or it’s old and doesn’t have as much grip. I had to get better 3M VHB tape to try and keep the deflectors on and they seem to work now, but I had to pull off all of the original tape. Once they are one, they work pretty well but you have to be careful on the install not to melt them either. These are okay and hopefully they work for your car but a name brand might better if they offer a better fit.

after about a week visor came loose on tape on the interstate and flew off and shattered when it hit the road. Tape was still on door of truck. Passenger side still appears to be ok. 5 days later right side came off and tape stayed on door. Poor quality tape.

I have a 2011 Honda fit sport and these fit my car well, maybe not absolute perfection but well enough that without a lot of scrutiny you wouldn't see anything amiss at all, and I looked pretty hard after installation. They are a dark smoky grey color, are cut well without any sharp or jagged edges and were very easy to install. I had them installed when I had a little other cosmetic work done to my car because I was unsure if it was something I might mess up but after seeing it down and how fast and easy it was, I felt silly not having done it myself. It was so fast and easy they didn't even charge me for doing it! The one thing they told me when doing it was it is important to clean and prep the surface (these come with wipes to do so) and they suggested doing it on a sunny warm day (it was winter when I had them installed, so by warm they meant don't install in a very cold winter day if you can wait, or do it in a warm garage) and they have stayed attached perfectly, despite many rain and snow storms. I have no complaints about these and would buy from this company again if I needed these for another car.

Disclaimer: Product received through Amazon VineUpdate: The adhesive on the driver's side passenger window is weak and started falling off. At highway speeds the front ones vibrate violently making a loud tapping noise that made me think I broke something in my car. To fix the front I put black tape to stop it from violently vibrating in the wind and it worked. Also noticed that you may need to heat form these things since they are too straight.Ok, jokes aside I think these are great window visors for the IS300. They fit well and also look good once you install them properly. The plastic material seems to be a good material and is very sturdy when I was bending it. The tint on it is very dark and it makes it look, from the outside, like its just all black. Installation wise it was easy enough. You just gotta make sure to pre-fit/mock-up everything to see where the visors sit to how you like. Then use the provided alcohol wipes and adhesive promoter when installing the visors. One thing to note is that the double sided tape, at least for me, were overlapping and some small parts went over the visor, so I had to cut them up to make sure I don't have any overhanging tape that will catch dirt. Once applied I tried to rip it out with "wind force" or so I think how strong the wind will be when beating on these once you are highway speed and it didn't come off. It'll only come off if you put enough force lifting the end corner where the tape will eventually give and you can pretty much rip it off. Not easily though. I honestly would recommend this product. It looks good and applied well to my car. I may update this later down the line for wear and tear going through car wash and the highway.
