Cooked faster and less mess
What I love about this egg cooker is that I can either cook my eggs completely cooked or I can have a soft boiled eggs which has been great for my soups. When I got this, I wasn't sure if I was going to use it that much but turns out, I actually use this quite often. I prefer to have a hard boiled egg every morning or at lunch for snacks and this has been helping with that. I'm able to set what and how I want my eggs cooked and I can walk away. I'm not having to worry about my water boiling over or under or over cooking my eggs. Not to mention, none of my eggs break while they're cooking in this thing. Plus, when it comes to cleaning, I just wipe things down and done.

Rapid Egg Cooker
I used to stand by the stove, watching a pot of water come to a slow boil, and hoping that I had the timing right for either hard-boiled or soft-boiled eggs. However, I just got an egg cooker that eliminated all of those challenges. I believe that this tiny instrument has made the whole procedure much simpler and has considerably decreased the amount of guessing involved. Having the assurance that my eggs will always be cooked to my liking, rather than having to cope with the unpleasant surprise of them being overdone or undercooked, makes me feel more at rest. It turned out that the capacity of six eggs was ideal for both my boyfriend and myself, particularly in the event that we both want to have eggs first thing in the morning. There is no longer any need for me to be concerned about forgetting to turn off the stove because of the built-in timer and automatic shut-off feature, which I found to be really useful. It is a pleasant experience to have peace of mind, particularly when I am running about trying to get ready for work or juggling many morning activities at the same time. Because it makes it simple to remove the eggs without causing my fingers to burn, which was a problem I had while using the conventional technique of cooking on the stovetop, I believe that the rack that is supplied is a wonderful addition. Finding out that there was a function that could make yogurt was an unanticipated advantage for me. In the past, I have not had much luck with making homemade yogurt, mostly due to the fact that I was never able to maintain a temperature that was steady enough. On the other hand, after a few attempts, I was ultimately successful in producing a batch of yogurt that was silky smooth and creamy. Despite the fact that the first effort did not come out perfectly, I believe that the second attempt went much better. This is because I adjusted the parameters and attentively followed the directions more than the first time.

Just so so
The egg cooker is just okay. It does the job of boiling eggs, but I found that it doesn’t really allow for different levels of doneness—every time, my eggs turned out fully cooked (well done), even when I tried to adjust the water amount. The timer and auto shut-off are convenient, and it’s easy to use, but if you’re looking for precise control over soft, medium, or hard-boiled eggs, this just so so

Handy Little Gadget for Breakfast Lovers
I picked up this egg cooker hoping to speed up my chaotic mornings, and while it’s been pretty handy, it’s not without its quirks. As someone who’s constantly juggling kids and work, I appreciate how compact it is—fits neatly on my counter without hogging space. The soft-boiled setting (4 minutes) gives me those creamy yolks I love for avocado toast, and the yogurt function worked surprisingly well, though the 10-hour wait had me checking the clock a few times. The digital display is straightforward, but the timer setup confused me at first; I accidentally set it for 2AM once when trying to prep breakfast overnight. Cleaning’s a breeze since the rack and bowl are dishwasher-safe, though the stainless steel bowl feels a tad small if I’m cooking for more than two people. Noise-wise, it’s quieter than my old stovetop kettle, but the steam vent tends to drip a bit, leaving puddles I have to wipe down. The anti-scald lid is a nice touch, but the glass still gets pretty hot, so I’ve learned to use a towel when opening it. My biggest gripe? The preset for tea eggs requires a full 2 hours, which feels excessive, and the custard setting left a few lumps in my last batch. Still, for quick eggs and decent yogurt, it’s been reliable. If you’re okay with a learning curve and occasional steam cleanup, this gadget’s worth considering—just don’t expect it to revolutionize your kitchen.

DOES NOT deliver on the description / features
Updated 1/3/26 Well, I gave this device a third chance by trying to use it to cook a "soft boiled egg" and it came out closer to a hard boiled egg - see picture. In my second attempt at the Tamago egg type, it came out with runny (like water) egg whites while the yolk was like a hard boiled egg. Downgrading to a 1-star since none of the even basic egg settings work as expected -- > this device is over priced for its performance. Original review: Tried it for the first time and wanted the Tamago type egg. The egg whites came out under cooked (runny) while the egg yolk came out like a regular hard boiled egg. I am thinking that this device is really only good for hard boiled eggs. I’ll come back and update my review if I ever tried the custard and soft boiled egg settings.
