I'd bought a different fence attachment first, and that one had plastic parts and just wasn't able to hold the camera in place and the fence attachment piece cracked within a couple of uses, so I was looking for the most sturdy model I could find. This design fits the bill perfectly -- its all metal construction, very sturdy and not moving once in place. I didn't really understand how the fastener worked when I bought it, but it really is magic -- one twist tightens both arms, so you essentially line up the camera where you want it and it locks in place

Exactly what I was looking for.Fittings aren’t perfect, I had to use somePrevious hardware to get my mevo to attach to the mount. Otherwise happy w my purchase.

Strong and sturdy

Used it a handful of times now. Definitely worth the money. Super easy to put up and take off and really sturdy. I would say it’s a much better design than some other options o have tried in the past.

This item worked great for exactly one month, then broke (around 10 uses). During setup for the final play-off game the mount broke, specifically the last joint that attaches to the phone holder. I was careful not to over tighten the arm but it looks like it must have been some kind of defect. Now the thing is sadly useless and we were unable to use it for our championship game (the phone just dangles loose in the wind).

I am not happy with the quality of this product. We have only used it for about two months (weekends only) to record our team's baseball games, and it already broke. It is easy to use and seemed sturdy enough, but the connecting part just stripped itself and is no longer usable. I know it's faulty because the part that broke is not a part that is adjusted manually. I am past my return window, so I am feeling very disappointed being out money and equipment. I would not recommend buying this product.
