So I originally got this for myself so I could listen to and download music.I quickly fell in love with the small form factor mp3 player.This works exactly like a budget smart phone and being able to use the web is a major plus.Its pretty snappy when switching between apps, I haven't seen it lag at all.I ended up giving it to my boys to play around with since they are coming up on a year old, I want to see how well the durability of this little mp3 player really is.

The media could not be loaded. This is a wonderful MP3 player with a compact size, nice screen, comparability with all the android apps, and headphone and micro-sd ports. It can play music off wifi or micro-sd card and output it via the headphone jack or bluetooth. It has run all of my favorite android apps. The headphone out sounds great with clear sound. Only drawback seems to be that it runs Android 9 and using external dacs through usb-c doesn't work well.This is a great idea to have an android system with 4 inch screen, just headphone output, usb-c and micro-sd ports to be used as an mp3 player. It supports all the streaming apps and local music player apps. So, can enjoy music on my sd-card through the headphones that most modern phones don't let us do.It didn't require google play to start so I installed F-droid. I side-loaded apps with apk and got more from f-droid and most of them worked well. Since this is Android 9, some of the newer apps don't work and have to find the right older version to use. However, I was able to use all my local and steaming music apps running perfectly.The headphone output is good with a nice emphasized bass but no muddiness. My DAC has slightly clearer sound but the difference could just be EQ. The internal DAC is good and headphone listening is very clear and pleasant.My 1TB micro-sd seems to work here and reads as 1TB space available. I didn't put in 1TB of data but the limit of 500 GB might be conservative and I think it can support larger sized SD-cards.I could not get the USB-C audio output devices to work. Upon further investigation, it looks like Android 9 didn't have good external DAC support and even going into developer mode and toggling the media USB feature, it didn't work but I probably need more investigation and tweaking. However, the USB-C does work for data transfer and connecting it to the computer sees the device.Overall, this is a great portable music player. It has good sound output from the headphone jack. It is just pure android and so it can run all the music apps that are in the android ecosystem.

I've tried to use this and I always get error messages. It's not user friendly and I'm not happy with it. Having used lots of phones and tablets, I know it shouldn't be this hard to use an item like this.

Size and functionality is fair. Blue tooth is the worst I have had.

This is a great music player and I love it for my music and podcasts. I know I can do that with my phone but frankly, I don't always like to have my phone attached to me at every second and this is so lightweight. It comes with a screen protector and case as well which is a huge bonus. It holds a charge and I can use Spotify, Apple Music, and other apps with it. It holds a ton of items and the touch screen is pretty good. Considering how small and easy to use it is, it's a great value!

While I understand that this device is not an exact replacement of the 80GB original IPOD with the black and white screen and wheel, it is pretty darn easy to use, and having a touch screen doesn’t hurt either. All jokes aside, I was looking for an MP3 player/replacement for the thousands of songs I put on my old IPOD for my parents, after finally convincing them that having songs at your fingertips is great, that somehow ended up with a cracked screen, and I am happy to have found this one. The apps that already exist just need your login details, and you have everything you need.
