Dr. Gains BFR Bands are the best I've ever used.Firstly, they are comfortable. They are both soft and strong.Secondly, easy to put on and tighten to the degree you want. Super simple and fast, which makes it such a good item at a busy gym.Follow the instructional videos and you won't have any problems.Once tightened on your arm, you can slip the rest of the band through an elastic to hold it... I prefer to let them tangle. It doesn't interfere with me workout and is a bit of a badge of honor - like a headband tie hanging down was fashionable, the same with the Dr Gains BFR bands.They arrived quickly. It took a minute and on the arm they went to try them out. No complaints - sturdy, comfortable and functional - easy to tighten and to release. I am a big fan of Dr. Gains and love watching his videos. I've had good experiences with BFR bands in the past and was really excited to try these out since they appear to be higher quality than the other brands on the market. Sadly, the design is fundamentally flawed. The buckles are metal and have sharp teeth that provide an excellent grip. That would seem like a selling point for BFR bands, but the bands themselves are a very soft material that is easily snagged on the buckle teeth. One of my bands snagged and tore during the first use. The other snagged the second time I used it. In less than a week, both bands were so badly damaged I couldn't use them anymore. I really appreciate the attempt to make a higher quality BFR band with a metal buckle instead of plastic, but it didn't work out.

How I use these:I have tried them for both biceps and triceps workouts and I can definitely feel the difference, both during and afterwards. The effect is very noticeable during all triceps moves (I did overhead movements and also the long & lateral head combo from Dr. Gains' workout videos). During biceps movements, it is particularly noticeable when using a hammer grip. Post-workout my muscles feel more tired than usual (for the same workout length).My thoughts on the cuffs themselves:1. They look and feel very well made with high quality material. I like the thick band and the heavy duty buckle. Having a spring-loaded buckle is better than the manual buckles on some other products - much easier to work with and more secure.2. They are very easy to use and adjust, even mid-workout. During my first workout I was still trying to find the optimal tightness and it was very easy to adjust between sets. Having the numbers and the dots gives enough markers to be able to fine tune the pressure and remember your setting for next time.I also appreciate that these come with a product page that gives tips on proper usage. I am a big fan of Dr. Gains video content as well. As someone with a history of shoulder issues, I like that he provides tips and modifiers to accommodate pain and range of motion issues.

These blood flow restriction bands are fantastic. Blood flow restriction training is an amazing scientific break through and I wanted to find the best BFR bands available that maximize muscle hypertrophy & provide a great user-experience. These BFR bands are by far the best I've tried. They are easy to use, comfortable, they don't slip (but at the same time are easy to adjust), and are effective. These BFR bands will be a game changer for anyone who exercises. I highly recommend.

Great Product! The science is there and it works. I saw felt and saw the difference the first time I used them. The results of bigger arms that lasts. The bands for the legs were not as noticeable the first time but I know it is helping to build bigger legs. You don't have to use heavy weights. Easy to put on and take off and to adjust the pressure. Before using the first time on connect and disconnect the pump, so you understand how it works. this will make it easier to connect and pump up after you pit the bands on. it is a quality product. I would recommend for anyone that is trying to grow their muscles to look fit.

Same outcome as the other 1-star reviews: they fray easily and are hard to get on and off at that point. The metal buckles are a step up but the teeth are too sharp and damage the bands.

The metal buckles are not so easy to use as described. You need to use both hands to get the band locked in place. I ended up buying another pair with plastic buckets and Velcro and I am very pleased

I have tried multiple sets of BFR arm bands, but these are the overall winners. Easily adjusted, the markings make it simple to keep consistent pressure from earlier workouts and progressively increase as you build muscle mass, and most importantly they are comfortable and do not pinch the skin or snag hairs as most of the others did. Highly recommend. Looking forward to release of the thigh bands if he ever comes out with those.
