I got 2 cans of this. We have to understand the kind of protein supplement we can get in an economical price like this, and the compromises it brings. Here are the things:- 1. Ask any bodybuilder and sportsperson, "I'm getting 1 kgs protein in Rs. 4xx," & they'll tell you:- well, it must be Soy Protein Isolate. And this is what it is. Soy is ok, its a vegetarian, cheap protein source used by a lot of companies like Herbalife and all, but it is also known to cause hormonal issues. It resembles the female hormone, causing problems in men and even weak bones in Women. Now, in less quantity it might not matter at all. This claims around 42% protein, still I'd recommend you consume it as an average person, do not consume too heavily everyday or even all your life. Use it to supplement the rare weak diet at best. 2. With 42% protein only it doesn't seem all that ok for a body building supplement, or even a proper mass gainer. Its ok for average people. Don't expect huge gains but yes, you can exercise with it. 3. It mixes very difficultly. You have to stir, stir and stir. In a shaker, you shake, shake, shake. Still lumps form and it doesn't dissolve well in water and milk both. 4. Sucralose is more acceptable as a low calorie sugar substitute, as it is 500 times more sweeter, and thus, present in very less quantity as opposed to sugar. Fine. But, keep in mind:- sucralose is a processed variant of sugar. How this fares out for diabetes patients is for them to see, but I don't imagine it going well. I say one thing:- Know what you're buying. I'm not an expert, but I'm giving this 4 stars because it makes no wild claims of being something it is not. I never faced any digestion issues or problems, but hey, each person differs. Knowledge is power so improve it.
