From the perspective of an amateur electronic music dabbler that's had M-audio BX5s for well over a decade the Adam Audio upgrade has been phenomenal. I did plenty of research beforehand and for the money these were the clear winner. I have my music gear in a relatively small room and given the logistics of the room the speakers sit close to a wall. Having the ability to swith the lows really saved me as these speakers really do have a solid low end. I'm not an audio technician by any means but these speakers really do sound incredible, especially if they are an upgrade. I definitely recommend.

Not as loud as my rokits but much more accurate and clean. I love working on these and for the price it can’t be beat.

My package arrived 2 days early and I was really pleased. The downside to that was the boxes had a picture of the monitors on the outside, leaving no doubt as to what was in the package left on my front stoop. I would have thought they would have at least been in a pain brown box so they wouldn't be identifiable from a distance. Thank God I was home when they we're delivered. As far as performance, they are very comparable to my old Yahmaha NS10s although I would say they have a little less bass... but not much less. They should great! I would highly recommend them! I'm very impressed!

I use these speakers in my broadcast studio and the quality has exceeded my expectations. Listening to these speakers reminds me of listening to the "Great Heil's AMTs. The quality is superior and the highs are so well defined it sounds very close to listening to a real band.

For the price, this is an incredible deal. Getting a crisp ribbon tweeter and 7” woofers in a package with multiple switchable EQ options at this price point is hard to compete with. As for sound, the bass is a little overbearing depending on your setup, but not to the extent that some other reviews might say. Its punchy and clear when pulled away from the wall about 1 foot and with the bass EQ switch in the cut position. The mids and highs are clear and crisp, and I can find and isolate most instruments and voices in the mix very easily. They’re a great upgrade if you’re looking to get into larger monitors, and a great addition if you want to look into adding a new pair of monitors to get a different perspective from your daily drivers.

These beat much more expensive speakers. Pros: AMT Tweeter = detail, cool to the touch amp dont get warm, 3khz dip frequency response. Cons: twitter hiss at idle, class D amp, rear bass port, rear volume control, no standby mode.

The speakers came quickly and were packaged very well. Would recommend to others.
