LEGO Star Wars Y-Wing Starfighter 75181 Building Kit (1967 Pieces)

This set is the most fun Iv had in years with lego. Mini figure scale and almost 1 to 1 with the real thing, meaning it doesn’t look tiny when sitting on its functional landing gear next to a mini figure. It has so much detail. And looks beautiful on my shelf. I want an x-wing in this scale immediately.

Kit is incredible! Construction is broken down into segments with separate bags for each segment. The instructions are in the form of a booklet and is very clear and concise. However, the shipper sent it with my address slapped on the box! No protection and the box had a three inch gash in it. Everyone knew what the package was. Five stars for the kit and zero for the sender. I'll buy my kits elsewhere.

This is the creme of the crop. The outcome of completing this build is second to none, as it is easily one of the most aesthetically pleasing ships in the Star Wars universe. The attention to detail is spectacular, far and away outshining its little brother kit - 75172. I personally have a fair amount of pleasing builds in my collection, but this is easily my crown jewel.

This model is great! The Y-Wing was not always my favorite ship, but I have a new appreciation for it after building this. It is a spectacular model, with excellent details.

Very fun to build and is a great display piece

product was discribed as new, recieved it with one end retaped, the book and stickers were missing. All of the bags appear to be unopened and it did come with the two additional plates. For being "New Condition" I'd expect a factory sealed box

Awesome piece. Happy I picked up on sale. With Lego would come out with some more sub 200 UCS sets.

This thing is probably the most meticulous Lego build I've done. It's insanely detailed and takes some doing to get assembled. Any detail junkies will have a hay day with this one, as it boasts tons of tiny pieces and intricate little details. A lot of fun to put together, but a lot of work as well. Also keep in mind, this thing's pretty huge (about 60cm x 30cm fully built). Much larger than I thought it'd be. Looks absolutely superb once it's done though! A lot of the collector's series sets I could see kids feasibly playing with, but this one's pretty heavy though; and has a lot of little surface bits that can come off and get lost pretty easily. Definitely more of a show-piece.

This is a great update to the original UCS Y-Wing, with a greater level of detail and some new building techniques and parts that weren't around during the last version. Challenging build, enjoyed it enough to order a second one for my son to put together. Looks great on the shelf with my UCS X-Wings and B-Wing!

Excellent model, a classic to have. Not a challenging built, but interresting to do. Looks great on the stand with the description plate. Kids can play with it, but there is a lot of small parts, adding to the detail of the ship, that could detach.

This UCS Y-Wing was a incredibly fun build, arrived boxed and in perfect condition. It took a solid 12 hours to assemble and is a amazing focal point for my Lego Star Wars collection. Its fairly large and has some weight too it make shour you have a sturdy shelf for display. 10/10 recommend. Its definitely more of advanced Lego kit not so much for younger builders. But amazing set.

I like the build and the look of this set, and while it’s on the small side for the original price, I got a deal on Amazon and for what I paid, it was well worth it.
