Previous outdoor garbage can was typical one you see from Amazon, Home Depot, Wayfair, etc. It sucked. Always full of water whenever it rained (even with lid closed). Lid broke - cheap plastic hinge. This has been completely the opposite. Love the top design which allows it to open easily for disposal, but more "fully" for removing the bag. Never a drop of water inside, looks and functions as well as I could ask for. Construction is also very well done with screws and pieces that fit tight and are thick.

Super nice ALMOST commercial grade. I would use these in a small restaurant or other commercial setting The only thing lacking is a removal liner. They do not make one, and the only one I can find costs more than the trash can itself. Otherwise, these things are TOUGH, Easy to put together, They Look great, I bought three of them for around my pool. Heavy enough not to get blown around in the heavy winds. All plastic so won't rot or deteriorate. Buy it you wont be disappointed.

Sort of hard to put together, but great in the end

Second one I bought, very east to assemble, has a great look to it and sturdy quality. I know it's an outside trash bin, but I use it inside. I have a big puppy, and I need a bin that would close, seal and that it wouldn't be easy to top over. Large capacity, with an easy lock mechanism that it's easy to operate, work great, doesn't take a lot of space, the lid is heavy duty, and it holds more trash than a smaller can.

This trash can worked well for a while but after a few months outside (in Ohio) the lid cracked and then broke at the latch point. I glued it, but it happened again, this time on the receiving part of the latch on the lid frame. I glued it. And yet again it cracked and broke on the opposite side of the latch opening on the lid. Clearly the thinnest points in the plastic on the lid latching system are not durable enough and with a bit of weather exposure they will crack and break. Even though I am out of warranty on this trash can, I decided that before posting a negative review here, I would reach out to Keter and offer them an opportunity to right the situation and send a complimentary replacement. I believe that any brand that stands behind their products, should take the opportunity to keep a customer happy and avoid negative product reviews. However, their response was 'sorry, you are out of warranty'. They offered to sell me replacement parts for a cost of $76.87...This bin is currently selling new on Amazon for $71.99!! I don't like posting negative reviews, but here we are... Based on my experience, I would advise anyone against buying this outdoor trash can.

Bigger than I thought, but that's okay. Hides the trash can liner very well. Easy to open/close. Assembly was easy. What's with the tray at the bottom? Have no idea what that's for... i guess if you're using cheap or paper bags maybe? Seems like a waste, but, doesn't affect it's functionality.

This product is easy to put together and is heavy duty. I replaced a round Rubbermaid 30 gallon can because it did not fit in my garage with my new car. Although, as one reviewer mentioned, the instruction sheet shows it as 28 gallons. It is a typo. If you do the math converting the area inside to gallons, it comes out to more than 38 gallons!

I purchased this trashcan for inside my home. My dogs are smart and ill-behaved. They learned how to work all types of "step-open" and "hands-free" trashcans. Cute at first, then a full nightmare. This trashcan requires some assembly, but do not let that stop you. It is easy to put together, with nothing really to it, and no real strength is needed either. This can is sturdy and can easily handle outside weather issues and critters. The trashcan is completely impossible for the dogs to knock over or open. My favorite part about this trashcan is the slide drawer at the base. If there is a leak or problem (bag rips, etc), the bottom has a little drawer slide that can easily be pulled all the way out for reaching and/or cleaning. If you are considering this can for outside, it is very nice. While looking good, It would keep raccoons and other trash-loving animals OUT.

Just received this product and I am impressed with the ease of assembly and the overall quality look. The cost for plastic always alarms me even though it provides for easy maintenance. So with it spending its new life entirely outdoors under a covered porch out of the suns range I expect the 2 yr warranty period will not be used. Cold weather here in the north will be its ultimate test.

This is a 4-season unit that serves us very well! It's permanently used in our backyard to dispose of our dog's poo with class, to say the least! We just put a bit of cat litter in the bag and we change it every 2 weeks in the summer / every month in the winter. Odours don't come out and the look of it is an instant backyard pleaser. I found it extremely easy to assemble in roughly 10 minutes. A1 product, highly recommended!
