The powders are ready to use and have no unusual smells. Installation/setup: Use as directed, adding to water in your ice machine. Final thoughts: I used this in my off brand ice machine. My machine is always filled with filtered water but my water out of the tap is very hard. My ice got a funny smell and taste so I ran this powder through it as a last resort. The powder seemed to work very well, I ran the cleaning cycle with this in it and then drained it. The ice stopped being bad and it seemed to work. I like this and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

When it comes to the cost of keeping up the machine, it can become crazy expensive. This was a great answer for us. We typically descale once a month, and this product is fantastic. It is used just as the instructions state, there is no harsh smells or anything, it is easy to use if you just go by the instructions. The packaging is easy to store, because it comes in a small box, so you aren't losing all those little packages and misplacing them.

Good value. Removed more build-up/deposits than cleaning vinegar. And, considering how much vinegar you have to use, this is actually cheaper.

Needed for a long lasting nugget ice machine.
