Great gift for the "foodie" in your life!
I have not tried any other kind of olive oil besides the brand from my favorite warehouse grocery store, and maybe a sample from a farmer's market - this was a delight! I like to dip my bread in olive oil, and this has such an earthy/peppery flavor I wasn't expecting but really appreciated. It came well packaged with a certificate of analysis. I'm assuming the quality is high because of how different and flavorful it is compared to any other olive oil I've had.I appreciate all the details given for this oil as well: Lab test report included, Best in Class Award, 100% free from pesticides, ideal for your daily antioxidant shots, single source olive oil from a small Tuscan artisanal family producer, imported directly from Italy, farm to table, etc.I think it would be a great gift for a "foodie" or special treat.

Earthy, distinct flavor
I used this in some homemade hummus and the flavor is very earthy and natural. It doesn't overpower the dish you're making with it but the distinct flavor is enough to add that extra complexity of flavor to your dish. I plan on trying this in a salad dressing mix next as I think the earthy flavor will compliment the fresh vegetables. The bottle is very dark and will keep the oil fresh for a while reducing the amount of light that gets into the container. Overall, a quality olive oil that brings a distinct flavor to dishes.

Fresh, flavorful, but a bit bitter
I recently tried the "Laudemio Tuscany High Polyphenols Extra Virgin Olive Oil", as I love olive oil, and don't ever want to miss a chance to try more. It was good for me, but not liked as much by my family.Pros:+ Freshness: The oil is from a recent, single early harvest. Marked on bottle, and clear from the taste.+ Quality Packaging: Nice packaging, and dark glass protecting from damage from the sub.+ Flavor Profile: Excellent. I think it is called "bright", which is very much feels fresh and highly flavorful in my mouth.Cons:- Bitterness: While I appreciate the slightly bitter taste, which is supposed to be typical of these high-polyphenol oils, it was a bit much for my family. They are more used to subtler, lighter tastes.Overall, the "Laudemio Tuscany Olive Oil" stands out. It is fresh, it tastes good, and would be a nice complement not only on salads, but as a side dish by itself. Some pita dipped in olive oil and za'taar requires these quality oils.
