I’ve had extensive foot surgery. I’m flat footed. Suffer from plantar fasciitis. Wear custom orthotics. Very expensive shoes for problem feet. But I’m always well a big part of the time in pain. I really have only used this machine twice. I hated it. It hurt my feet and I immediately had it boxed back up for return the next day but I noticed my feet absolutely felt wonderful and they continued to do so until roughly five days later. I did it the second time and it didn’t hurt. It’s just very aggressive at what it does. From all appearances it’s very well made and my feet fit very snuggly into it. I’m a men’s xtra wide 11.5. It’s like I said a very snug fit but I keep trying to wiggle my toes up there for the sake of this review and they are not going to rub against anything anytime soon. If you spread your legs there’s less intensity but if you sit upright with your feet right against it you will definitely get a work out. It’s a very cushioned with a very soft material. I myself wouldn’t do it without socks on also because it would be more intense. I hope this might help someone in pain out there.Bottom line. I would recommend it.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't write a review of a foot massager after only using it four times. There wouldn't be enough familiarity, what with the different program options and longer-term results remaining a mystery. For this particular appliance, I'll make an exception. I'm what doctors call an "orthopedic mess." (Sorry to be so technical.) Working long hours on concrete floors began exacerbating my arthritis recently, and by the time I got home at the end of a 10-hour workday, my feet would be swollen to the point of inflexibility. Rather than embarking on a futile and expensive, six- or ten-month series of orthopedic appointments and physical therapy, I decided to give a home foot massager a go. Thanks to positive reviews, I chose this one, and now it's my turn to write a review. The massager's maiden voyage was interesting, as my feet were too swollen to use the pressure function, which would soon become my favorite feature. There are hard bumps that can be set to rub forward or backward on the soles of the feet. Those brought the numb bottoms of my feet right back to life! The unit also heats, but the warmth is very mild. I only tested that function to make sure it works. Probably won't use it, living in Atlanta, but I'd definitely want it if I lived in Minnesota. You can set the pressure depending on your preferences. The squeezing function is provided by air pillows within the unit filling and emptying, which creates a hypnotic, repetitive "whoosh" sound. I reduced the pressure to the lowest setting the first use, to accommodate my bloated feet. The next day, the swelling had greatly reduced and I was able to increase the pressure. Today's half-hour session saw me using the highest pressure setting -- something that would have resulted in howls of pain a few days ago. At risk of confusing causation and correlation, I think this machine is the reason my feet have returned to normal. The swelling had been a daily problem for six or so weeks, and rest, ice, compression and elevation had failed miserably. Every time I used the massager, my feet would be a little less swollen the next day. And today? Normal feet! Ankles! Given the price, this is worth a shot for anyone dealing with chronic feet issues. What relief!

Perfect Christmas present. I missed the lightning deal but was still great value for the money. Functions as described and is easy to use. Fairly good material quality. Good massage quality. Feet fit well and great pain relief after working on my feet!

Pretty good, but in no way feels like a real foot massage…edges seem a bit sharp(plastic under fabric) and it maxes out at about a size 10 men’s foot(he used it once and never again)…for the money it’s okay, does knead the bottom of foot and therefore probably helps with circulation? I give it a 4star since it works and appears to be made well…that being said..it doesn’t blow me away..I’m thinking the massagers with more leg cuff up the calve would be a superior massage.

I bought this because I was having really bad foot pain almost every day. This has really helped. It does a great job on the toes and the ball of the foot. The heat is just right. It can be painful when turned all the way up, but this is adjustable. My only wish is that it would massage the back of the heel but I’m not sure any of them do that. My feet are a size 7 in women’s. My husband wears a size 11. He said it’s a little tight for him but not bad.
