Smooth and rich
I love this Rioja, it's worth paying the extra over the cost of the standard Campo Viejo Rioja. Smooth, rich and a joy to drink.

Lovely Rioja for the price
This is a good Rioja - the label on the back is deep red. Rioja is graded by their small square coloured label on the back - Green, Red, Deep Red, Blue - (green being the lowest). The higher up the colour you go the Rioja is normally a good one. This is a decent wine to the colour grade and price.

Reliable choice
With its distinctive label, Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva stands out as a beacon of quality and taste. This one is the slightly higher quality version vs. their standard yellow label wine. It's a difference you can taste, but it also comes at a higher price. Overall a reliable choice for those navigating the virtual aisles of wine selection.

Not bad
I'm no wine expert. This is not a bad wine and, if you like blackcurrants, this will suit you. I don't believe 2013 was a great year for Rioja and this wine will most probably taste better with age. Given the price, it's not a bad little Reserva.
