It's a cheap egg cooker with a flamboyant name. It is neither elite nor gourmet. LOL. But it does the job if you are on a budget and use it responsibly. My eggs turned out fine and peeled easily without having to poke holes. If you are the kind or person who likes to walk away from stuff boiling or frying on the stove while you gab away on the phone and think that every product should safely protect you from yourself, then you should probably go spend 5 to 10 times more for something with all the bells and whistles. It's basically a tiny domed hot plate. For those of you complaining that it stains well that has to do with your hard water. Do you blame the glass on your shower for not staying clear? You are basically boiling away the water each time in this so if you don't like the mineral stains, use different water. It is not the product's fault. That being said, anything that I know needs to ne timed to turn out the way I want it, I never trust it to auto shut off because even if it does shut off, you still have heat and moisture continuing to cook it and that is why you bathe eggs in ice to stop the cooking. What do you think will happen if you walk in the room 15 minutes later? That's like complaining your oven overcooked your cake even after it turned off. Well turning it off does not stop it from cooking. Taking it out of the oven does. That being said, there are some reviews about safety. I cannot speak to which are legitimate concerns but any product can experience bad batches when human beings are involved which is all the more reason to pay attention when cooking. I've had crazy things happen to expensive appliances as well. But it also boils down to quality of care. The cheaper the product, the more I keep an eye on it and the more careful I am about how I clean it and how much time I give it to dry because they obviously don't have the finest seals or chips inside. When I buy cheap, I do so with that realistic understanding. Those who expect the world for a dime are usually the biggest critics. We couldn't afford quality growing up so we learned to apply an abundance of care. If you follow that rule, this should be safe enough to do the job. I give it 4 stars for its price class. 1 star off for the audacious name. LOL. If it tries to burn down my kitchen, I will come back and let you know. LOL

This has changed my egg game! The size is great, easy to clean, not noisy, easy to use and my eggs come out perfect every time!

Slick little way to cook eggs in the shell without having to watch or wait...Just put in water to support soft -med- hard boiled eggs...put eggs on .. turn power on and walk off.. Zero mess and eggs perfect.. Turns itself off...Minor improvement would be light to indicate power still on.. If don't rotate power switch to off...it will be on while you plug it in. The instructions say this but think it might be small change worth it...

So easy and quick!! Ive personally never made hard boiled eggs before but the instructions/steps (along w/ TikTok videos to help peal) were beyond easy to use/cook and in 13 mins I have perfectly cooked eggs! Little to no noise just the water slightly boiling. As far for cleaning, again two things to wash = amazing. I cooked my two large eggs for 10 min and let them ice bath for 2 min.
