I have a 2017 Volvo XC90. Have been trying to find the PCV valve at the dealership. It cost about $400 and at advance auto around $239 and here I just got it for $38 simply amazing so far the car is running perfectly fine. Was able put in within 20 minutes And part fit in perfectly so no issues so far.. so even if there is a risk of ending up with a lemon from this vendor still $38 is not too much of a loss. You can always order another one after six months and that will last another six months. So to me, it’s no-brainer to use this part since it’s so easy to install on your own.

I installed this part end of September 2023, and now, March 2024, the rubber "bladder" is already bad.

Excellent item, very pleased! I’ve provided a video that will show you how to diagnose the issue to see whether or not this is what’s going on on your vehicle to confirm you need to replace this oil trap/PCV diaphragm. Very happy with the product check engine light went off after about 4050 miles of customer driving it. It cannot be reset with a scan tool, no matter how powerful it must go off on its own after drive cycle performed. Especially on the newer Volvo engines.

At just over 72k miles my 2019 Volvo XC40's engine light came on and RPMs were surging at idle. Also a noise that sounded like a squeaky belt. Free code reader at Auto Zone showed a probable vacuum leak. After a few Google searches, the Oil Trap PCV Valve was the likely cause. Euro online auto parts wanted $180 to $200 and I heard Volvo's OEM part was close to $400. Easy 20 minute install. I figure I saved about $750 by not taking it to the Volvo dealer.

Almost exact replica and works great. Very satified, not to mention the good feeling of avoiding being ripped off by dealer markups.
