Quartz White Dial Ladies Watch SWR083P1

My mom lost her watch in the L.A. fires. I think she purchased it in the ‘80’s or early 90’s. She loved that watch. She wore it everyday. It was something that she mentioned that she wished she had remembered to take with her when she evacuated. So, of course I went online looking for one, thinking I would only find a used one. But, thank you Amazon & Seiko! OMG, I was so excited when I found it…same classic design with improvements: water resistant, and the glass is Hardlex crystal which sort of magnifies the watch face, when seeking the time and is more scratch resistant. The quality is exceptional! It is a bracelet style stainless steel band, so it fits loose, but I believe it can probably be shortened by a jeweler by taking links out, if needed. AND…it has Seiko’s iconic triple fold, finger push style clasp, which prevents you from losing it. This style clasp is easy to operate and a wonderful option for anyone, especially seniors who may have arthritis or limited dexterity. It was a wonderful find and a great value. And, for my mom, there hasn’t been a day go by since the fire that she hasn’t expressed her gratitude in having her watch back.😍

Im very impressed. Although it feels very cheap and is incredibly lightweight, it has such a strong mirror finish it’s incredible at this price point. I have a lot experience with timepieces in the 5 figures and this definitely reminds of that same mirror finish you get just not as shiney and intense if that means anything to you. Fits like a buttered glove. Very legible. Very luxurious.

Seiko always top notch. I got this watch for my mom for Christmas since she lost her other seiko.

Wow, this watch looks better in person! I’ve been looking for a nice Roman numeral watch that is water resistant. The numerals are dark enough to see and looks nicely balanced on the face. The best feature is the blue hourly/minute hands. It stands out against the textured background in the middle of the numbers. This is my favorite bracelet watch ever!
