Paramount 3DABS (Enzo Red) 1.75mm 1kg Filament [TRRL3020485A]

This red ABS by Paramount has proven to be the hardest ever ABS filament to dial in, and I've been printing ABS for many years in my old workhorse 3D printer. I'm using a fully enclosed (and heavily modded) Makerbot Replicator Dual with Kapton tape on the bed. Filament sticks to the kapton tape very well once you have the bed temperature dialed in, for me the magic number was 110.Getting this stuff to print however, was a nightmare! Printing a simple squarish part I could use 220 all the way through. Changing the extrusion temp to 230 created blobs, so I stuck to 220. Overhangs are impossible without resorting to inserting G-code at layers. If I recall I ended up with, after a few layers, dropping bed temp to 80 and extruder temp gradually to 200. I suspect heat creep in the part may be an issue here? Unfortunately the Makerbot print fan is a on/off affair, so of not much use printing ABS as I can't vary the fan speed.Once printed, the filament is a beautiful red! Mine measured a very consistent 1.74mm on cheap digital calipers. High quality stuff, worth spending the time to dial in. I also have a new spool of Paramount black ABS, curious to see how that compares to the the red.

This is so red it is amazing. I love this filament. It prints really nicely as well. Bought to use in a Mobius 3 extruder build as well as a potential Voron 2.1 3D printer build. I intend to buy more from this company.

After dialing in my printer (Voron 2.4) the Paramount red ABS prints like PLA in terms of quality surface, layer adhesion, and just general easy of print and forget. I am using an enclosed printer with a textured magnetic PEI bed, at 250C nozzle, 110C bed, and 80mm/s.

This is probably the brightest red filament I've come across, which is exactly what I wanted for my Voron 2.4 printer build. It prints very well on my prusa i3 mk2.5s at 245 degrees.

Not as red as I had hoped. It prints good, like all of their other colors, but is not a good red red.

Amazing color red!!! Way better than eSun. Need to compare it to KVP and Hatchbox but great color and easy printing.

Printed very well, stuck to the bed nd no warping at all.
