soft but dont adhere to shoe very well and stay in place
Not sure how these are going to work. They seem to want to come out of the shoe when i take them off. kind of a pain as you always have to make sure they don't fall out when you take off your shoes. I bought these for my sketcher shoes as their sizing has changed and i bought couple pairs that are too big and now i can't return them. I will be wearing the shoes now it is spring and using the liners we will see how they work.

Nice heel cushion pad
The adhesive is very sticky and the heel pad works well if you place it correctly in the heel of your shoe. I've found they work best when placed higher in the heel of your shoe, to give your heel some room to fit under it. If you place it too low in the shoe, it does not seem to work as well.

Good adhesion
These stick. Once they are in they do not come out easily which makes them slightly tricky to insert because of the adhesive-it doesn't slide around. That said, once they are in they stay put and give about 1/4" of padding so slightly large shoes don't slide up and down. Obviously, perfectly fitting shoes are always the best choice, but when you are between sizes these work pretty well.

Flawed Design
Suede is the ideal material for a heel liner because it provides the necessary grip to prevent slippage. Unfortunately, the design is flawed. There is a thicker portion that is intended to ride high up on the heel just below the Achilles tendon. That thickened "rim" is instead situated mid-way down the heel liner. They don't really serve any purpose to keep the wider part of your heel from popping out of the heel cup. In that location, they serve primarily to push the foot forward (which could result in pinched toes at the front of the shoe). The thickened portion really needs to appear at the top of the insert so that it doesn't encroach on the heel cup and instead functions to prevent the shoe from sipping at the heel.

Just So - So
I tried these out for an expensive pair of loafers I purchased on-line where the size ran a bit too big. I used these units in the heel section and they were helpful, but at the end of the day, it is just better to get the correct size shoes to begin with, and do away with any band-aids. Using these means you got the wrong shoe size, period. Get the correct shoes, and you do not need these. The shoes I used these in are going to Goodwill, and I will find a better pair.

Pretty good
Used these in my skate ski boots and they worked pretty well for me. Use a shoe horn to put your shoes on to prevent them from trying to peel off.

My feet and longer slip out of my shoes
I seem to have wider feet as I got older, so I bought my shoes, one size, bigger and wide and they fit good but my foot seems to slip up and down on the back where your heel is so I added these and they amazingly stopped my feet from coming out of the shoe. They are also like comfy material and they do stick to the shoe quite well so go ahead and try a pair you’ll like them.

They didn’t work for me.
They were not thick enough to make a difference in the size of my shoe. I wanted the shoe to fit a little tighter but these were a little too thin to help me out.
