Product is NOT solid carbon fiber... it's laminate. CF on the outer part, some other composite sandwiched in the middle.

I bought the 6 mm thickness carbon fiber sheet. To my experience this looks like a true pure carbon fiber sheet and it acts and feels like that as well. This is a very strong and stiff, I use it to make slingshots out of and it will take a solid hit with a steel ball bearing at full speed without even showing a dent.Definitely worth the money if you need carbon fiber and works great for my slingshot.

Its carbon fiber with fiber glass filler, its really durable and Inst too thin for what I needed. It looks great and catches a lot of peoples attention, I will note that being fiberglass please use eye protection and cover all parts of your body before you cut it, fiberglass is horrible when it gets on your skin as it is very irritating, but its durable!

A perfect application. I have a transmetatarsal amputation and I use these to cut to prosthetic soles for my shoes. It works out great. very comfortable. Soft enough flex to mimic my normal gate but not enough to hurt my foot. Keeps my shoes from bending up in the front. Very good quality and durability. A definite life changer. The 1.5 is the perfect thickness

I am using these as backbones to make DIY reflector surfaces and the key feature was supreme stiffness, leoghtweight, and perfect flatness. Mine was 2.0mm thick. I drill a hole in the sheet and am able to add a 1/4-20 riv-nut (rivet with nut inside) and it did not flex when I added it.I use these to bounce the sun into areas I need light.Fibre glass center didnt appear to effect overall stiffness. Did exactly what I needed.

Needed a specific size sheet of carbon fiber to make some custom lightweight sun visors in my car, and this was the cheapest sheet I could find that would work. There was a little bit of untrimmed and raw edge on the plate I received on one side, so you might not be able to get the full width or length if you really need it, but I was able to just trim it off when I cut everything to size and still had enough material for my needs. That's the only reason for the 4 stars, otherwise I'm pretty happy with the quality!

Great quality. Flat, rigid and accurate dimensions.Highly recommended for functional purposes.The fiber weave wasn't perfectly square if you're focused on cosmetics, but we just need the function, so no big deal.

I used this to make custom shock towers, front bumpers and it’s perfect. I used for my 1/8 nitro shock towers, front bumpers and it is perfect. Very strong and very durable.
