This review is for the Netgear RS280S (BE9200). Overall setup was easy through the iPhone app and took about 20 minutes. Runs strong and speed test confirms I am getting the full download and upload speeds I am paying for. The network is tri-band (2.4, 5, and 6 GHz) which will help keep things moving as more and more devices become connected. There is also only ONE network to select -- as opposed to the 2.4 or 5 options on my 7 year old Netgear that I replaced today. I have strong wifi through my house (basement, main floor, and upstairs) and all across my backyard. I was prompted to either accept the pre-programmed network name or given the option to change the network name and password to match my old network. Great option, as this allowed all devices to reconnect without a new logon (Ring, Nest, hue light bulbs, Alexa devices, Maytag Washer and Dryer, all phones, computer and TVs) all worked automatically without issue or having to log devices in. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Easy to install and activate. Suppose to have 6G signal strength, so we will see. Seems better already. Too bad I had to reset everything connected to internet like smart plugs/devices, etc. Hopefully this will provide better and more consistent access and connectivity to the internet. I have many smart devices so I have to have a robust and secure system. Love that there is a separate login for parental and guest controls. It seems to be compatible with everything in the home so far. Crossing my fingers. I was generally satisfied with my old Nighthawk but received notice that it was no longer supported. I knew the connection was not always the best and that was probably why.

The speed difference is immediately noticeable. I’m getting much higher download and upload throughput, lower latency, and far more consistent performance across all my devices. Streaming 4K video, gaming, large downloads, and multiple phones/tablets running at the same time no longer slow anything down. Coverage is excellent too. Signal strength is strong throughout my entire home, including areas where my old router used to struggle. The 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands handle heavy traffic really well, and devices stay connected without random drops. I also like the 2.5-gig port for faster wired connections and future-proofing. Everything feels responsive and stable, even with lots of devices connected at once. It just works, which is exactly what I wanted. My NETGEAR - Nighthawk RS100 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router. was easy to setup and I added 11 device within minutes. It even allocates WIFI devices as you add them for load balancing. The dashboard is impressive and provides a traffic meter, speed tests, WIFI settings, security and support and a device list that can manage individual devices. A great router at a great price point.

I got this brand since the router we had that gave out was this brand, but it'd lasted us long enough and we were due for a newer and faster router anyway. It appears to be connecting all the devices the old one would connect and does seem a touch faster and not failing like the old one was doing. Using the app on my phone made it easy peasy to set this up and using the protection that came with it notified me every time we added a device and it was scanned to be clear and safe. It's definitely compatible with all the brands of devices we have in the house.
