Fantastic watch! Good and heavy, fits the wrist perfectly. Strap is good quality. The date set is not done on the crown; it's the old style where you have to go through each day to set it (like old style Rolex). I put it on my timegrapher; it was in beat and running in a straight line. Overall I'm very impressed with the quality for the cost. Time will tell how much abuse this watch will take, but I suspect I'll be able to be very rough on it. UPDATE: After wearing this watch a while, I noticed that it starts to lose time. This is because the balance adjustment is not very tight. Uploaded a video of the adjustment of the watch, and the potential for good timekeeping that it has.

The Amphibia is a cult Russian watch which is easy to modify. The seller changes the bezel to a modern dive bezel which I think looks great. I would suggest you also change the strap. I changed mine to a rubber/silicone diver strap. You end up with a unique personalized watch. The problem? It's a Russian made mechanical watch. Mine is very fussy and will stop working without warning. Also, there is no quick-set date - so if the date is wrong, you have to scroll through the hours of each day to get it to the correct date. So you don't pay a lot but don't expect a Rolex!

I have been looking into an automatic watch after getting tired of charging my Apple Watch. The watch arrived and looks perfect. After being used to oversized watches it’s taking a little getting used to size wise. Just got it today so we shall see how it holds up. Be sure to read the instructions about setting time and date. They even threw in a cool Red Star pin.

I ordered this watch as a gift and my boyfriend just loved it. It was received in good state and you can tell the watch is made with good materials. Excellent value for what it cost, beside it is not everyday you can brag about having a watch from such a great, exotic and old brand. Big up to the seller from Ukrania who let me know when something delayed my package, I really appreciated that. On the other hand my package was delayed in Costa Rican customs but that is definitely not the seller fault considering my watch arrived at the beginning of the Quarantine. Definitely would buy again from this seller and this brand

It suddenly stopped working about 2 years after purchase. The cost to repair is 3x the cost of the watch.

This watch stopped functioning properly about a month after I bought it. It stops every night at midnight. I took it into to a watch repair and the repairs will cost $500. I was totally taken by this vender
