Great set of tongs at an amazing price. Very useful that you can lock the tongs closed by pulling up the hanging hoop at the back. Very stable and the ends of the tongs meet, not off centred like some cheap ones. Good quality product. Very happy.

I've owned a OXO tong a good few years. The rivet failed so I was looking to replace it - like for like. So, the OXO medium tong costs £11.99 (thats just for a single unit) and these cost the same for three! So, yep, I took a punt and bought this set. They are 'exactly' the same! I even weighed to see if the materials were inferior... they weighed the same. So OXO, shame on you and Smithcraft! well done for not ripping us off!! The photo shows the three Smithcraft tongs and the botton tong is the faulty OXO tong.

They do the job, as for durability, time will tell.

These are very sturdy and have a high quality craftmanship finish. They appear to be very durable and will stand the test of time. Having the 3 different sizes makes them very versatile. For the price and quality you really can't go wrong, I would most certainly recommend this product.

Really pleased with these, they have washed well in the dishwasher and are handy sizes.

These were bought to replace our old set. The 3 sizes makes life easier for grabbing different foods. The are nice and sturdy, and good value for money.

Having had previous tongs that didn’t last too long these seemed a good bet, dishwasher safe, wonderful. Unfortunately this is not the case. Gradually the rivet has deteriorated from being exposed to dishwasher detergent and one by one fallen out. I am now looking for my next tongs!
