Amazon Essentials Women's Slim-Fit Scoop Neck Tank Top, Pack of 2

This tank top is ideal for so many uses and needs. I initially bought a couple as night shirts. They are soft, comfortable, and worked well as a night shirt. Soon, I was using it also as a layering piece under sweaters and button down shirts. I am 70 yrs old, and 5ft tall, weighing approximately 149lbs. The large was perfect for me. If you are looking for a tank that is loose and flowing this is not for you. This has awesome stretch but is form fitting. I washed it in cool water and dried it in the dryer with no casualties...it came out fine. I like that it isn't see through also. The straps are wide so your bra straps are hidden nicely. Just a nice comfortable tank for any occasion. After getting a set of two, I immediately came back to order two more sets in different colors.

These are great! They are a soft cotton-y material; not a silky material. I needed a replacement for my old Old Navy Tamis (remember those?!) and these are perfect. They are fitted, but not too tight or snug. I wear them under all my sweatshirts/sweaters. I’m definitely buying more!

I love these tank tops so much that I’ve bought 16 in a variety of colors & will buy even more. Can’t beat the price when they’re on sale: 2 for under $9. Wow! The tanks are super comfy & don’t feel tight despite being slim-fit. My 48DD boobs fit great in the 2XX. Fabric is really soft. Colors are amazing, especially the plum, gold & olive green colors. Lime green was perfect for a Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl party paired with a white silk blouse, navy blue/white batik palazzo pants & white rhinestone slip ons. Just gorgeous. Comfortable neckline that wears well under a v-neck hoodie long sleeve shirt or blouse. They are also comfortable enough to sleep in, which is HUGE for me, because I absolutely HATE sleeping with any clothing on. This was a big deal for me after I was laid up in bed after back surgery/flu/broken ankle all in the span of a month (yeh, that sucked!). I couldn’t be naked 24 hours a day & the pain killers made me sleep a lot, so I wore these tanks for comfy coverage for the 2 months I was stuck in bed. They were also ideal to wear under a button down sweater for my numerous doctor appointments, because my arms were accessible for blood pressure cuffs & blood draws. I have no desire to buy any other tank tops, because these are so perfect.

Great basic tank! I now own 8 of these tanks in various colors. They're super soft, great length for this tall girl, not too low cut, thick enough, wash well and haven't faded or fallen apart. I've mostly bought XXL. Prefer XXL for fit, but tried XL too but only because my only complaint would be that they run a little low in the armpit area and I like to keep my bra covered. White color not very see through, which is great! Highly recommend overall!

I’ve been looking for a tank top to layer under lightweight shirts and blouses so that I can wear them in winter, but most of my tanks have a v-neck or deep scoop that didn’t work as an under layer. These Amazon tanks are perfect. The fabric is soft and stretchy, so it’s comfortable and doesn’t bunch up underneath a shirt. The length is a bit long, but looks nice tucked in, or even left out depending on the shirt. My one complaint is that the tank tops are sold in pairs, which means that in order to get the variety of colors I liked, I ended up with 3 navy blue tanks.

These tanks are amazing! True to fit, so whatever size you are and usually order for yourself, they will fit perfectly. They have a slight stretch to them which is great. They are slightly longer and have washed nicely, with minimal or no shrinkage. I have 6 total of different colors, and will add more for summer.

These tank tops were as I expected, based on all the reviews I read. The style is what I was looking for, being sleeveless and fitting snuggly. The colors are nice, and the material is thick enough to not be see-through, yet not too thick to wear under another shirt and be too warm. I like that these are functional and versatile for all seasons. I am 5 feet 1 3/4" and weight 135 pounds and the Large size was good for me. It fit snug in the chest, didn't come down too far on my neck/chest and was a good size under the arms (not too wide/big). I didn't like that the length was longer than expected. I prefer a tank top to be shorter in length, but it was okay enough to keep, especially since these are now on sale. Then, after washing it - it shrank to a better length and now it's perfect. One of the colors was the RED and it did not bleed or fade. The navy blue was also a good color and it washed and dried great. VERY PLEASED. I would order these again in other colors.

Love the idea! Cotton blend tank-tops should not be a zillion dollars. These are simple things to make that do not require a lot of raw materials. So AmazonBasics got that part right. Softness of material, stretch, and colors are good. Initial quality seems good. However, they got the fit and sizing wrong. Armholes are way too long; straps are too long and a bit too thin. Sizing is tiny (off by 2 sizes?) and unflattering. Tight fit also makes your back look lumpy; other tops do not do this. I rarely upload pictures to the internet, but this is a fashion disaster so I made an exception. (See photo above.) These may be okay for private indoor wearing for sleep, if you don’t care how you look or have a perfect body? [For reference, I’m 5’1”, 108 lbs, wearing a size small. If I reorder, it will be for a size large, and I will then cut the straps down by 2” and re-hem them.] It’s an almost-win that didn’t work. I really wanted to have a low-cost, good-value basic tank top, and this came sooooo close. Unfortunately, not usable to me as is. Maybe if they change the fit and widen the straps? The three stars are for the soft stretchy fabric and the good price point. Please do better Amazon! I’d love to become a believer again.

Great length. Perfect fit. SOOOO soft! I have colossal kahunas, which means horrible chafing under the ta-tas. I took the advice of a similarly endowed Mormon friend a few years ago and began wearing tank tops like an under shirt- under my bra. There is nothing better in the whole world. Relief from that burning pain (if you have big bazookas, you know what I mean) is incredible. These tank tops are great. I’m a pudge-muffin, so I don’t like a short tank top that rides up, and I need to know that it is big enough for my many voluptuous curves. These are. And they are the SOFTEST dang fabric you can imagine. Just wonderful. I subsequently ordered 6 more, because I love them so hard! They are lovely and cool, and just about as perfect as perfect can be!

I purchased a total of 4 of these tanks and went back in today to buy more! They are soft, fitted perfectly, the length is perfect (I am 5'10 and 'rising up' can be an issue if too short), the colors are true to the pictures, and they are extremely comfortable. I could wear them so many ways! With jeans, shorts, skirts, workout wear, or even under a blazer at work! I am definitely going to look into if there is a t-shirt counterpart to these and if so, I am going to get a bunch of those too!
