MT505 5 liter tanklock tank bag

Great Tank Bag, well package . But be aware. Fyi, I use a Note 2022 Ultra by Samsung and nope it will not fit in the window , but if you use a smaller cell phone like a small iPhone or such I am sure that it will fit mine was just a touch too wide for the flap to close. I guess I will keep something else there. 2 things that I noticed, 1 regarding tge rear of the bag the X cable entry , and secondly I about the mounting of tge bracket you will need to also buy the correct bracket and here is why even if this bag comes with 1. First, about the X for cable entry. The rear side of the bag as a port of entry for you to fit cables or what ever you would like to poke out from your bag. It's an extra piece of rubber that it stiched to the hard case bag for you to allow maybe a USB cable to come out of your bag once it's closed. The inconvenient side of it it's there but not really, the Port is there but not cut open, so I had to modify mine and to cut it carefully to allow the port to work because the bag is not pre cut but the port is there. Maybe I got a lemon one where they forgot to open the hole bit I will never know. Was an easy fix, a sharp bold cutter took care of opening the spot. Secondly, and probably the most important. But it took me a min to realize the most important thing. First of all the tank bag will arrive with a standard u shape lock ring with no hardware bit they give you the U shape mount ring. Fyi, it's a generic U shape mount ring most likely will not work to mount on your motorcycle but it's ok as long as you know that you have to go to the GIVI web site and hunt for your appropriate U shape ring to fit your bike. I try to install the provided U shape ring and let me just say that it's useless, the tank bag would not lock properly and would not hold but partially to the tank. So as I was almost to return the whole tank bag. I decided to research for my GS1250 2019 the correct U shape Ring model kit. It was also available on Amazon, it then came with another model U Shape mount lock that was actually taller and it also came with a stabilizer bracket plus hardware to replace mine. Took 5 min to install now the tank bag is amazing, lock perfectly and I love it. Remember you have to get the mount kit on top of this bag or it will most likely not work.

Easy install. Great size for daily carry stuff. Comes off easily for carry and reattaches just as easy.

Givi's tanklock system works well. It is easy to put on and take off without scratching the tank. The bag is well made and hold a lot. I like the zippered mesh inside the lid, keeps wallet and cell phone secure when opening the bag I put my phone, wallet and glasses in the bag. The tanklock is a bit stiff when new or it takes a couple uses to get the knack, but it feels secure. This size ias about perfect for carrying just the essentials.

Using it as a tailbag by mounting a Givi ring to the passenger seat pan. The teardrop shape fits well with my Aprilia Tuono 660's seat. The capacity is good enough to carry a couple pairs of gloves, bottl of water and a few other things, I carry extre ear plugs, a rag and visor cleaner spray bottle, epipens and still have room. Expanding it gives extra bit of space but not much more. Holds it's shape pefectly. There's a zippered pocket in the lid where I store the rain cover and strap. The only problem I have had with it is the material under the elastics on the lid is bubbling up here and there like it's separating from the material underneath. I press it down and it comes up again later on. The bag still functions fine, it's just slightly unsightly.

What a nice, smaller tank bag. Just right for some gloves, pair of sunglasses, microfiber cloth, owners manual, flashlight, Leatherman, neck gaiter, and a few other smaller items. The zippered exterior compartments are very handy for glass cleaning cloths that I use to clean my TFT display. The bright yellow interior makes it hard for things to get lost. The expandability is handy, just in case you need a bit more room. It does offer a port for running a power cord in, handy if you need it. The tank ring mounting keeps it up off the surface of the tank, making it impossible to scuff the paint. Same ring is very easy to install and easy to remove bag for refueling. Overall, excellent quality, stitching, zippers and other materials are first class. If needed, I'd buy again.

This is a good box. It fits a full face helmet. I pack it with stuff a lot and it fit a few things I wasn’t sure it would. I’m very happy with it. You can unlock it and take the entire box off the bike, just leaving the platform on the rack. So you don’t have to have it on all the time if you don’t need it. I leave it on and bring certain things each ride including rain gear and trauma kit. On warm days I may keep some Gatorade back there too just Incase I need electrolyte replacement. I do have a trash bag that everything is inside just Incase of leaks in rain but so far, it’s never been wet inside. I’m not sure if it’s waterproof for certain but so far has been.

Bought for my BMW motorcycle both when touring and on long day trips. Hate having my wallet etc in my pants pockets when riding so they go in here along with regular glasses, some just in case meds, eye drops etc. It has a cord port so I can keep my phone in the bag to recharge and plug it in when needed. Rain cover keeps everything dry. Tiny side pockets keep my mini garage remote on one side and a credit card on the other for quick gas stops. I keep the strap in my pocket - empty pocket because stuff is in the bag - and when I get off the bike I take the case off, clip the strap on and carry it on my shoulder like a man purse. Nothing left on the bike that could be stolen and my valuables are with me. Sturdy and well made.

This tank bag was perfect for my 2016 BMW R1200RT since the tank is plastic and other tank bags won't work. This one easily attaches to the gas cap ring. Well made and should last a long time. Perfect smaller size for my bike as I wanted. Fast shipping. Would highly recommend another Givi product.
