We used these for making cherry pies while camping. Yum! They were easy to use, cleaned up well and the kids had fun.The cast iron hook broke off one while we were clamping them together. Completely my error but I would expect cast iron to not break off quite that easy.I’d definitely purchase these again.

You have to be careful with the mountain pie irons they come apart easy and the handles won’t stay screwed into the main part

Came on time. Very nice and sturdy. I like how they can come apart for easy cleaning or for making your favorite whatever. They also have a hook to keep them together.

Perfect set for camping. They come apart for easy cleaning, transport, and storage.

Durability is 0/5 stars. The cast iron broke on the second use on one of the pie irons. The handles do not stay screwed In and constantly needed tightening during use. The food was delicious, but quality of them is beyond poor.

Awesome product

These were a wedding gift we received last year and we were very excited to use them. We used them twice and the handle snapped off one while my husband was carrying it. He was lucky to not get burned. We constantly have to screw the handle back into the cast iron but the cast iron itself is amazing! They’re not pre-seasoned so we did a quick seasoning over the fire and they didn’t stick at all! Overall just wish the handles were better.

I ordered a set of four of these. When they arrived one was broken at the hinge. The company did send me a replacement piece, however, when my family used them for the first time, the other three broke during normal use. I would not recommend wasting your money on this cheaply made product.
