I only recently tried jerky for the first time. A neighbor makes is out of a really good cut of prime steak & sliced super thin. It was so good! Stryve is the only store bought brand the resembles her jerky. It's tastes like real meat with nothing synthetic to alter the flavor or texture. It's flavorful but so thin you don't feel like your chewing the same piece forever! I wanted to place an order but it's currently out of stock. I do hope Amazon continues to sell it in the basic beef Biltong flavor (I don't like spicey or peppery jerky).

The Biltong came quickly and was very tasty. I received 3 bags, but only opened 1 so far. I'm sure the other 2 bags are fine. I've tried the original flavor originally, and this time I tried the hickory flavor. Next time, maybe the teriyaki flavor.

Item took longer to get here than expected. I thought I had purchased large bag of jerky but when it arrived I had 4 small bags. The flavor was not the same. I felt grease on my tongue when I ate it. Not sure if I want to order again.

So I've purchased this at Costco, and it was always amazing. Could buy huge bags, taste was impeccable and overall just such a great snack. Amazon quality however, for some reason, is the worst. The meat has SO MANY unchewable pieces in it, the flavoring is over done or something and it leaves a pretty disgusting film in your mouth.Costco Stryve - 11/10Amazon Stryve - 2/10

I first found this jerky at Costco and with all my wife's allergies it's been really hard to find beef jerky that she can have until we found this jerky. Costco no longer carries this jerky so I took to online and found it and ordered it through Amazon. My wife then took it to work for a snack and it turns out the jerky is hard as a rock and the flavor is nothing like we remember. It really makes us sad because we loved this jerky but with how it turned out ordering on Amazon the flavor and texture isnt worth it.

I just can't. The flavor isn't for me, the texture was too tough and the pieces were too small. Almost like it was ground beef at first.Got through one bag before I couldn't take it anymore and I threw it out.

I initially tried Stryve because I received a coupon for my local grocery store. I really enjoyed it, so I ordered this 4-pack.What I like about Stryve is that it’s drier, less fatty, and less greasy than traditional beef jerky. You can tell it’s real, quality beef. I have tried the original (this one), the Peri Peri, and the Zesty Garlic varieties.Word of warning: this is not the texture of regular beef jerky. It’s much thinner, which lends itself to the dryness I mentioned earlier. You may be surprised if you are expecting regular beef jerky, but it is very good.

When this is fresh there's nothing like it. Beef biltong >>> beef jerky, biltong is smoked. These bags go quick which makes them not inexpensive...QC varies from moist to dry, pieces to chunks. First saw this at a Costco. Gotta pick this up when I can.
