This kit is everything you need to band up something. I bought it to redo our couches in our toy hauler. Worked perfect

1000' roll of PET strap in not on a reel. Doesn't even have a core. It's a large roll wrapped in plastic. Once the plastic wrap is gone, the 1000' roll could be everywhere! What a nightmare! I'm wrapping it with velcro straps to control it, but feeding strapping off the roll could be a problem. Tensioning tool and crimpers look good.

It works - it works good - it's 24 bucks (at the time of this writing). I wish I could tell ya how well this tensioner works compared to others, but this is the first poly strap tensioner I have used. I have an old Uline metal strapping band kit - it is probably 30 to 50 years old - I've had it for about ten years - its' tensioner is a different beast than this one and wouldn't be a fair comparison. I have seen many that look exactly like this one selling for a lot more, and I've seen some that look similar selling for 5 to 17 times as much as this one. I couldn't tell you if they will last 17 times longer, but I can tell ya this looks like it should hold up for a while. All the red painted bits appear to be cast aluminum, and all the unpainted, business end moving bits are steel. For around 20 bucks it's worth the price of admission to me. If my business was dependent on poly strapping stuff – I'd probably gamble and buy two at this price. If one broke soon I'd order the more expensive tried and true brand in a hurry, and keep the second Zueda tensioner as a spare. I digress. It works – works good.
