Beautiful results...
Brings back the joy of painting by numbers however no comparison to the 1970's black velvet. This paint by numbers produces a beautiful piece of art! Can't wait to paint another one!

A few quirks, but a solid kit
I’ve done a couple of paint by numbers over the years. The pros: the canvas was easy to read and I really appreciated the print out of the numbers. It made going back over colors easier. The cons: I ran out of 13 and since it was a dark color it really needed a second coat. I barely got one coat on. I had to mix in another color to stretch it further. I also found two or three places that there was no color indication/number. Even when consulting the print out I couldn’t find the number. I just guessed. Finally the most disappointing part is that the colors and details are really off around the cat. The cat itself looks fine but the surrounding area isn’t as vibrant as the product photo.

Ok but too simple
Got this for my wife…she’s been doing adult paint by number for some years now and some of the painting she’s done are really nice. This one, though, while the composition is good and reminiscent of our youth, the painting itself is too simple. It looks ok and hangs in the rec room right now. (Do people still call them Rec rooms?) 😉

Amazing and fun.
Great colors and energy. Is a perfect guide even if you don't know how to paint. May want to buy a few more small brushes to have more sizes to alternate . Very therapeutic. God bless you may this bless you as you paint like it does for me. Helps with high anxiety days! I don't even know how to paint!
