Easy to install and works great!
Perfect "plug-n-play" solution for Windows 10/11 PCs! No drivers to install and no configuration required to make it work. Simply install the card into an available pci-x slot and within minutes network and/or Internet access is restored. Great little card for the money!

Cheap introduction to 10Gb networking
I have a 10Gb capable network at home. I tried installing the Aquantia AQC107 card in my daughter’s PC, but the highest it would negotiate is 5Gb. Transferring to my NAS it peaked at 5Gb. Speed tests to the internet peaked at 2Gb which is normal since I’m limited by a 2.5Gb WAN port.I’m still giving this card 4-stars, because there are so many other factors that could have limited it to 5Gb. I’m leaning towards the PCIe slot on the Z390 motherboard going through the PCH chipset. Alternatively, it could have downrated due to a long CAT6 run.Do I recommend this card? Yes, I do. I prefer NIC’s with SFP’s, but this is a very cheap way introduction to 10Gb networking.

A Welcome Boost for My Network
I've been itching to give my home network a shot in the arm, especially with all the data flying around these days. This 10Gb PCIe NIC Network Card caught my eye, and I'm glad it did. Installation was a breeze—just slipped it into an open PCIe slot on my Windows 11 PC, and it was instantly recognized. No driver headaches, which is always a win in my book. Plus, it comes with both standard and low-profile brackets, so it should fit most setups without a hitch. I've also found it seems to work really well in my Linux setup, which is a bonus for versatility.Even though I'm not fully rocking 10Gbps speeds just yet, this card is definitely pushing things to the next level. It's smart enough to auto-negotiate speeds and plays nice with different cables, which is super convenient. For now, I'm mainly using it to speed up transfers to my NAS and generally make my network feel snappier. The Aquantia AQC107 controller inside seems to be doing its job, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently. If you're looking to future-proof your setup or just need a solid performance bump for your more demanding tasks, this card is a reliable pick.

So far so good.
I got this in preparation for fiber optic service coming to my neighborhood. I've ordered the 2Gbps synchronous service plan and I am stoked to have reliable Internet service.ProsI installed this in my Windows 11 PC with no issues.Speeds on my 1Gbe home network are as expected. I have CAT 5 cable throughout my house and that's adequate. It was easy to install in an open PCI slot on my mobo.ConsNone so far.NitpicksI'm leery of these non-mainstream brands for overall reliability, support, and security, but since it's just my home network (and not some high security network) I'm sure it's fine. If they want, they can snoop my empty bank accounts all day long if they want. ;-)Overall, I'm very happy with this as an introduction into higher-speed networking at home. I'll update this review when I get fiber service and my new NAS installed to comment on overall performance and speed.

Had issues finding a suitable Windows driver
I'm not sure if it's the fault of the card or the driver - Windows 11 didn't like it. More than half the time on bootup, it connected at 1GB instead of 10GB. It also had issues with WoL, so I switched back to an old Intel card instead and that has worked just fine (though that card doesn't support WoL at all). The card comes with a CD for drivers, but who has a CD anymore. The website it refers you to no longer works, so I was on my own with finding a driver for Windows 11.

A high performance 10 Gb network card for fast data transfers!
I was a computer technical consultant to Fortune 500 companies for decades. As a computer nerd, I have a rather large home network, connecting computers in 7 buildings on my property. Only one building is within the range of my WiFi network. The others are connected via LAN cabling, up to 1/2 mile from the server. Over that kind of distance, signals slow down. I got this 10 Gb NIC care to help overcome the bottleneck. I've had a 1 Gb system, which means it could handle traffic up to 100 megabytes per second. This 10 GB NIC will transfer up to a gigabyte per second, an order of magnitude faster than the old system. Right now, my network is a hybrid of 1 Gb and 10 Gb cards. Note that if you have a 10 Gb card on your server, until you replace all other slower network cards your network will not achieve the full benefit of 10 Gb speeds! I have two fast cards, and you can really tell the difference in transfer speeds. This 10Gb network card is REALLY peppy! I like it! Gone are the times when terabyte files took hours to transfer. NOW I'll get a terabyte file transferred in MINUTES, not hours! I'm happy as a puppy with a new toy!

Off brand Chinese 10Gbps ethernet card
Pros:* Functional 10Gbps Ethernet card* Full and short height guard included* Reasonable value and price for standard chipCons:* Totally made in China and has all sorts of Chinese characters all over the documentation* Not sure how much support you'll get if it stops functioning... or if they might be snooping your packets?
