Liking the glass
I bought my set from the Amazon Warehouse Deals, so they came with some minor cosmetic flaws on the lids. The lids are made of cheap metal, and are screw-top. They don't have rubber seals, but I live in a dry environment, and haven't really found that to be a problem. I guess it depends what you store in them, but I haven't had my stuff be dried-out because they don't have rubber seals. I have stored flour, white sugar, oatmeal, oat bran, wrapped cookies, and candy in them. Be careful when washing the lids, as water will easily get under the interior flap. The lids should probably just be wiped with a damp cloth and not put under the faucet. What I really like about these canisters, is that they are glass, not plastic, and thus don't react with anything you store in them. Ceramic canisters cost a lot more, and for the price I paid for a whole set of 4 glass canisters, I am happy with them. The box they came in said they are made in China. The lids aren't the greatest, but the glass is good quality.

Be careful cleaning the lids.
They're not as big as I had hoped, but that's my fault. Don't submerge the lids in liquid or rinse them because moisture well get under the ring, which takes a long time to evaporate. Now when I clean the lids, I use a damp paper towel out disinfecting wipe. Then I don't have to wait as long to use them.

Not good for daily use, but for decorations they work well.
I ordered two of these, both packages came with at least one container that had a crack. Glass has lots of blemishes, lids are difficult to screw back on but if you are only using them for decorations and not for daily use then they should be ok.

Fine jars but not really airtight
These jars work fine for storing non-perishables, but they definitely are not airtight. The lid is a standard screw-top lid, and does not have a gasket or rubber seal that you see on jars that are actually airtight.

Poor Quality lids.........
The glass jars are fine..... the lids are cheap and not well made.......The lid came apart the first time I used it........It is a thin metal lid (much thinner and cheaper than I expected) with a plastic insert with threads for securing to the jar.The plastic came apart from the lid. The lids arrived with small dents in them......
