Guinness World Records 2019

The Guinness World Records 2019 book was hands down one of the most beloved books in my classroom. I’m talking full-on rock-paper-scissors battles to decide who got to read it first during independent reading time. Kids who “weren’t into reading” suddenly had their noses buried in stats about the world’s largest hamburger or a jet-powered go-kart. Every page is packed with bright photos, crazy facts, and the kind of weird, wild information kids absolutely adore. The “Meet the Makers” section was a huge hit—they loved seeing real people who build huge, imaginative creations (yes, including the elephant-sized hamburger). And the LEGO “Making History” spreads? My students flipped straight to those, then tried to recreate the builds at home. We even used the “Do Try This at Home” challenges during Fun Friday, and the balloon dogs were chaotic but unforgettable. If you teach upper elementary or have a curious kid at home who loves bizarre-but-true facts, this book will be a total home run. It’s engaging, educational, and guaranteed to get kids reading without you having to bribe them.

I bought this for my 9.5 yr old grandson. I bought an issue and he opened it and started reading it and telling us fun facts. We had to encourage him to stop reading & open Xmas presents! Great for young minds and gets them interested in new and exciting things about the world, things outside their normal exposure. I love that about Nat’l Geographic for adults and kids.

Every year I get my son (now age 12) an updated Gusiness Book of World Records and every year I think the adults get more use out of it than the kids :). Always a fun way to entertain yourself and those around you by sharing fun and quirky records that have been set. We always learn something new and fun each time we open this book.

My students love these books. Lots of photos with small captions- the kids don't think they are reading, but they are! Perfect for a reluctant reader/learner in the classroom during free or independent reading times.

Great condition. Great price and arrived quickly. We use these in addition to baby books and have one for each childs bith year. It's great to look back on, my 11 year old loves it. We got this one for my twin nephews

I bought this as a gift for a 10 year old. He's a reluctant reader, and he LOVES it. He's had it a few months now and is still constantly reading it and finding new information to share with people.

It’s 2022 but who cares if this book is 2019, it’s still super interesting for my 10 year old grandson and me. For 5 bucks and some change, it’s a steal!

Got it for my grandson's 10th birthday. He loved it and so did the family as it was passed around for the rest of the day. Very entertaining

wir haben es für unseren Sohn in der 8. Klasse gekauft, der Billingual unterrichtet wird und daher ziemlich sicher englisch spricht. Für alle, die "normales" Schulenglisch hatten, eher nicht empfehlenswert, da doch ziemlich viele Fachbegriffe enthalten sind.
