fix flooding problem
Engine with pulse fuel pump would flood, start hard and fuel would get into crankcase when setting overnight. Engine would run fine after starting. It appeared that the needle valve was leaking exaggerated by fuel siphoning through fuel pump. Fuel pump was replaced with no change. Carburetor was replaced since needle and seat were not available. No change. After a week of downtime, we added this fuel valve which is wired to ignition circuit that is turned on and off by engine run switch. Problem solved. Reasonable cost and quick delivery.
