Fits perfect quality replacement

I have an old model Daisy 880 with the brass tube, metal receiver and diamond inlay on forearm. My daisy was not holding pressure. This part replaced the original which had cracked seals. Design is not exact to original but it works. I also replaced the other O rings in the pressure tube. There are 2 #11 O rings on on this assembly and one on the spring assembly on the opposite end of tube. There is one other seal which is ~$30 which I did not replace but tried other methods to restore some life to it (soaking in brake fluid and adding a #10 O ring to the inner to the recessed part of seal to help flare it outward. I also did not replace the #7 O ring in the exhaust port. Changing this part helped but until I replaced the opposite end O ring and tweaked the expensive pressure seal the pressure was not improved. Now that these changes were made the pressure is improved but not to full original capability. Will need to consider buying the new part and then also changing the exhaust port seal. If you are going to go at this change is is more to keep a legacy Daisy working ...a new Daisy is lower cost than all these parts to repair. The O rings when removed looked ok but even a slight amount of hardening or circumferential reduction will affect it significantly. The repair of pump piston assembly is very easy and the other seals are fairly straightforward.. many good youtube videos to assist.

This helped get my old Daisy 880 back in working condition.

I have an early pre 1995 model 880 which was worn out. I disassembled it, decided to get the pump plunger part to repair the gun. Looks like a fit!!

Seems like a quality replacement part, a bit pricey for what it is.
