These are excellent tej patta, Indian bay leaves. Whole and fragrant, and some of the best I have found on Amazon. Many other brands sell dry old and broken tej patta. The Latin name for tej patta on the package is incorrect and should read "Cinnamomum tamala". Cinnamomum tamala has 3 central veins where as Laurus Nobilis has only one central vein, and as promised this product is tej patta, Indian bay leaf (Cinnamomum tamala). Other than the labeling error, this product is 100% A+++!

I have purchased bay leaves from a variety of sellers over the many years of cooking. These were the best I have ever used. I have been amazed at the difference, and they were well worth the money. They were packaged and sealed very well-also better than any others--and I plan on buying more. I use them primarily in Italian sauces, but they would lend themselves to any dish asking for bay leaves. They were large, individual leaves, not crushed or crumbled as many are.

I wanted the larger bag this is way too small

Delicious and huge (4"+ for many). Great value and well packed for storage, but I moved them to a jar so I can see them.

Very large sized, unbroken leaves. Gorgeous.
