Simla Mudguards.
The Simla mudguards were purchased for a Trek mountain bike that has 26" wheels. They are a bit flimsy, as the front mudguard only has one fixing point and the rear mudguard has two fixing points. The rear mudguard clip that fits around the frame looked like it was about to break off, it was not very rigid and several times uncliped itself from the frame. Overall the mudguards fitted the bike well and the contour and design looked like they suited the bike. Time will tell how good they are and whether there are any problems with them.

I would 100% recommend these mudguards. They have got a grove either side. So you can move the bit that the bolt goes into to suit where you're bolt hole on your bike. Very clever idea. These mudguards fit my bike perfectly.

These are a terrible product.
Do not buy these. They are cheap, light and easy to install but also useless. The rear guard in particular doesn’t perform its main function which is to prevent water, dirt and debris from being sprayed up on to you. I have been caught in the rain several times recently when cycling and on every occasion so much water has sprayed up on to my, I may as well have not had the guard installed on my bike at all. Do not buy these.

They stop mud.
I found them easy to fit, they look smart, I did use 1 aftermarket bolt which was on the front but I have after market forks. I found so far that the single fixing for the front works fine and have had no issues. They stop spray well.

Ho acquistato la coppia di parafanghi spinto dal buon prezzo venduto su Amazon. Purtroppo il parafango anteriore dopo due mesi di utilizzo e diverse sollecitazioni si è staccato in quanto il perno è di un materiale scadente e si è spezzato in due parti. Peccato perché era un bel design

Obejma rury pod siodłem ma za długie ramię (inne niż na zdjęciach produktu) i przez to błotnik opiera się o oponę 26"x2.1". Nie wyobrażam sobie jak ten błotnik może pasować do roweru z kołami 28" skoro praktycznie leży na oponie 26".

Das Positive zuerst: Die Schutzbleche sind schön verwindungssteif, sodass diese beim Fahren nicht störend herumklappern. Außerdem sind sie relativ passgenau, wenn man nicht gerade sehr große Reifen fährt und damit den Umfang seines Rades unnötig vergrößert. (Für meine Big Apple habe ich das hinter Schutzblech erhitzt um den Radius etwas aufzubiegen - ging wunderbar.) Montieren lassen sie sich ganz einfach wie gewöhnliche Steckschutzbleche, allerdings sind die beiliegenden Schrauben etwas unlogisch gewählt. Im Normalfall braucht man eine etwas kürzere Schraube für hinten (dünnes Rohr oder Blech zwischen den Sitzstreben) und für vorn braucht man eine etwas längere Schraube (Gabel). Stattdessen sind zwei mittellange Schrauben dabei, die hinten endlos überstehen und vorne selbst für eine dünne Gabel aus den 90ern viel zu kurz sind und eine Montage unmöglich machen. Wer eine Schraubenkiste daheim rumliegen hat kann bedenkenlos zugreifen - alle Anderen müssen vor der Montage nochmal einen Umweg zum Baumarkt machen.
