Very simple , but essential if you sharpen your own mower blades. After sharpening, you must be certain the blade is balanced or the blade(s) will vibrate when turning. This will cause uneven mowing, but worse, can vibrate components of your mowing machine loose and apart. This balancer will accommodate blades with different dimeter center mounting holes, and is very sensitive.

If you sharpen your own blades and don't like vibration, then balancing them is essential. I used the knife edge of a file tang trick on round mounting hole blades in the past to balance them. But I was struggling to balance the newer blades with 5 or 6 point "star" holes. This solved that problem perfectly and really speeds up the sharpening / balancing operation. Excellent value for the money.

Works great!!Only issue was the package it came in. It has a square piece of styrofoam in with the balancer. Seemed like it shifted or wasn't put in correctly so the top part was off to the side. No damage tho, and works like a charm.

Simple product that works well .. seller appears good, no complaints.My gripe is with Amazon who insists about 50% of the time, to drop the shipment with the USPS which will not deliver to my house because I have a postal box. The other 50%, it is delivered to my house by a Prime delivery truck. I have tried many times to deal with this, but to no avail. Using the P.O. Box addy is a crap shoot.I’m paying for Prime, but am not a happy camper with the shipping situation.

It is ok for the money. It shows balance but you get what you pay for. But it does work.

Good little tool for a good balance on my mower blades. Easy to use, metal part not plastic.
