Best decision ever!
I had a PC in my office with similar specs to this, i9-9900K, with same amount of RAM and a RTX 2080Ti. Which was fine but I wanted a gaming laptop and I'd always heard that laptops just weren't the same as desktop PCs when it came to gaming. Well let me tell you this is amazing. I am absolutely blown away this is the best gaming experience I've ever had and I would recommend this laptop to my friends and family. Totally impressed and of course it has an HDMI out so you can run it to a 70 80-in 4K screen and it plays flawlessly it is absolutely wonderful.

Didn't even make it past 24 hours.
Shipped in. I was super excited. It was very beautiful. It started and I went to go through all the windows installing everything made sure all the software is and firmwares were all downloaded looked at the beautiful RTX 5080 it was showing up in device manager. Was super excited to play some games. Just did some web browsing setting up my email and everything on it. Closed the laptop, came back 10 minutes later opened it. It was super hot and the laptop had bricked itself. Didn't even get to really use it at all. $3,300 and customer support was unhelpful at GB I went through the whole technical customer service call (was on hold for an hour) and they told me to do all the usual things and told me to return it. Customer service at gigabytes said it would take over a month for them to do anything with it so I should just get it refunded at Amazon. Amazon couldn't replace it and there was no other options to replace it. I would have loved to given another review with another unit but the only option I was given was a refund. Sucks, was really excited to see what gigabyte had to offer and immediately gave me a bricked $3,300 laptop. Was going to update this review if another one came in but sadly won't have that option it seems.

Fast GPU
The Processor runs twice as fast as the 4090 graphics card. I think that would means that the the laptop should be able to push games for the next 10 years. Laptop runs Battlefield 2042 @ 125 to 175 FPS with full settings. Looks and plays great. 5*

Brand New Disaster. Unprofessional, and a waste of money.
DO NOT BUY. Ive only had it for two days and this was a nightmare. Their control center to download and obtain updates, drivers, bios updates. Does not work at all! Ive tried everything to troubleshoot it, their website does not even have bios or the drivers needed available for download for this product. Their customer support does not have a phone number, the option to live chat is there but doesn't actually have that service available. And I doubt I will hear back from their other support form option. The webcam is extremely cheap and doesnt work. SO you cant even use windows hello to login if you have glasses. Even scanning without glasses, it will not detect you once your glasses are back on. This will be the biggest waste of your time and money, and I believe every negative review on here is valid and true. Stay away from this product, and honestly this brand.

Enjoying each day. Had ASUS rog 3070, but changed to aorus, and feels more sturdy and components better.

Full Price for a Refurbished Experience
Be prepared to pay full price for a refurbished or pre-opened laptop. The laptop's hardware performs admirably, and for that, it deserves credit. However, prospective buyers should be aware of potential inconsistencies with the product's condition upon arrival. It is advertised as new, but in my case, I never got the luxury of being the one to open a virgin product. The first unit I received was not factory sealed. The second unit, while functional, also presented as a pre-opened item and required over a dozen hours of my own time to troubleshoot various system errors and perform software fixes before it was stable. I've attached photos of the product's state on arrival and some of the initial errors encountered. Keep in mind - I paid full price for this laptop and received two pre-opened products. Ultimately, the machine is capable and now runs as expected. However, the experience of receiving two pre-opened products at full price, requiring over a dozen hours of personal effort to fix, makes this a 1-star purchase. A 'new' product should not demand such time or arrive in this unacceptable condition.

Do not buy it
Performing bad since day 1, expecting updates to fix the RGB issues, slow starts, sometimes had to turn on twice but since I wasn't using it to much and I hadn't the time to make claim I let the time pass while I was just installing every update for the original software it has, hoping it solves the problems... But today after I was using normally, I open the lid and it just doesn't turn on (I was very hyped with this laptop that just now I saw the other bad reviews) Update, now it's in an on/off endless cycle, sometimes the fan doesn't stops until you open the laptop and disconnect the battery, now it's on his way to the GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Customer Service Center...

Case is really thin...
Just as a warning for any DYI upgraders out there, if you disassemble the laptop to upgrade the RAM or NVMEs - the metal case is very thin. If you over torque the screws or anything they will literally punch right through the backside of the case (eg: the surface where you rest your palms and near the trackpad). So be wary and make sure you put the screws back in the correct place. I learned the hard way. Otherwise, its a good laptop. It is larger, so plan for that. The metal case is fairly rigid and doesn't make it seem overly flimsy. I was a little worried about that since it has such a thin bezel and is thin overall, but so far it seems fine. The heat piping seems to be working pretty well and though the laptop DOES get pretty warm, it doesn't seem to be as bad as other laptops I have had. Speed wise - unless you are running benchmarks or GPU/CPU intensive tasks (like Davinci Resolve and Topaz Video AI) I can't see a noticeable difference between this and the older 3080 series. Gaming wise, overall FPS is solid and I have not had any issues running anything I threw at it. Using Unengine Heaven it benches in at ~104fps-120fps @4K on high/ultra settings/max volumetric shadows, etc. So it is not a slouch.
