Simple to connect, excellent picture quality
The other night my cable/internet carrier had an outage during the World Series! I had to listen to the rest of the game on the radio. The next night, the cable company had ANOTHER outage during the next World Series game and again I was forced to listen to the rest of the game on the radio. I went online the next morning and found some lists of the best indoor TV antennas. Up until now I've now had any luck with them at all. The Channel Master FLATenna was #1 on one of the lists and at $35 I decided to give it a try. This model has no additional power source. It's just a legal size paper sized flat surface with a cable you attach to the bottom and then to the antenna output in back of any TV (yes, even the 2025 flagship smart TV's have 'em). After attaching both ends of the cable and then putting the flat sheet antenna on the wall behind my TV, I turned the set on and found the correct things to click to automatically "find" all of the over the air TV signals this antenna could detect. I now have quite a lot of channels including all of the local network stations (CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX) along with quite a few others and I have to say; the picture is AMAZING!!! This antenna just pulls them all in. I'm pretty near a major city so I don't know how well this antenna would work for people living in out of the way places but I have to say, I am SUPER impressed by the ease of setting this up and by the quality of the signal. No longer will I have to be subjected to various intermittent failures of my cable company's signal. Yes, I'm keeping the provider BUT this antenna has given me a failsafe backup in case of future signal failures, which WILL occur. I cannot be happier with my purchase. This is a great indoor TV antenna for a back up OR if you don't wish to spend on cable any longer, it provides excellent display quality if not the vast array of cable stations a carrier offers. I'm going to watch the rest of the World Series using THIS over the air connection just in case. The picture quality is so good there's no reason not to and only a total power outage will ruin my enjoyment of the series. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Channel Master FLATenna!!!

Fixed my TV reception issues!
Fixed my TV issues! I was really having trouble with my previous indoor antenna: It worked, but was finicky -- I didn't get as many channels, I'd have to make adjustments to its location, and even then, I might not get all my channels and/or would lose some. With this Channel Master, I fixed it to the wall (an interior wall), and it worked instantly perfectly: I got 104 channels, including all my favorites, they come in clearly, and I don't generate any interference when, for example, I walk around the room while the TV is on. The high-quality cable (included with the antenna) may account for the good results I'm getting with this Channel Master antenna. I'm very happy with this product.

Adequate but not great
It works well if it's placed in an optimal position with stronger signal reception. It picked up about 50 stations but many of those said "no signal" or had a signal too weak to get a good picture. We ended up with about 20 good channels. There is no signal booster. We have used Channel Master metal outdoor antennas in the past and they were excellent but I can't rave about this indoor flat one which kept falling off the wall. It might be better for more ideal home placement or in geographical areas closer to towers but not so good for more rural locations.

Paired with Tablo and Easy to Install
This lightweight antenna is hardly noticeable in my window. No HOA approval needed and works great! We are receiving signals from much further away than expected through a second story window. This antenna paired with a Tablo has become our new favorite thing! Works so well and will save tons of money. Only downside was the adhesive provided doesn’t want to stick to the antenna but I’m working on a fix for that. Even just propped up on my window sill, it still works just fine.

Ok , well made product
Well made with heavy cable. Have a number of stations w/i 25-30 miles it should pick up reception with ease. Only does periodically, Have another flat antennae brand that is older and does just as well

Works Exceptionally Well - but your older tv might create lag . . .
I have the antenna taped to the south window of my 7th floor apt building. Lots of hi-rises all around me - and I'm receiving 95 channels over the air. All of them crisp. Works extraordinarily well. Only gripe I have is the coaxial cable is black - which surprises me. Should be white or light grey - to blend into walls. That can be switched out - but it would've been nice if they just gave a white coaxial cable instead of black. Another other issue I've encountered is lag when changing channels. This is not due to the antenna, but rather the tuner of my 7 year old Samsung flatscreen. Unscrambling digital OTA signals can take several seconds - especially with older digital tv tuners like mine. That delay makes using the antenna to access over the air digital channels a surprisingly frustrating experience. I understand new tv tuners use NextGen TV (ATSC 3.0) which is supposed to reduce the lag time considerably. So ironically, my purchase of this inexpensive but highly effective digital antenna is probably going to cause me to buy a new tv that uses a NextGen TV (ATSC 3.0) tuner.

This antenna does work, but you will need to play around with location
I purchased multiple indoor antennas and had no luck. Connected to multiple TVs on different floors (3 story town house) and no luck. However, I was able to get local channels using this Channel Master flat antenna. It did take some moving around and I think I am going to get a longer cable as it comes with a 12-foot length, but I did manage to get 16 local channels with approximately 60 to 80 percent strength for high definition. I ended up placing the flat antenna against a wall rather than window and that is where I got the best reception. Also, in the same location, flipping between black and white side out made a difference in strength. So yes compared to others I am very pleased now to have some local channels. This antenna does work.

HELPS SAVE $$$ BY CUTTING CABLE CORD.
Works well. Live in a metropolitan area with decent amount of channels. Atmospheric conditions definitely play a part in reception, but a little movement has worked to improve reception. Would suggest it is best near a window , not a windowless area. Thin and flexible. Picture quality is good, but again atmospheric conditions are a variable to consider, as well as proximity to stations. Range guess is 15 mile radius in metro area setting. A definite purchase if you stream most things and don't want to pay for local channels.
