I usually buy the maruchan brand. How do these flavors compare to them?

Maruchan is really "Baby's first ramen" and the bottom of the barrel in the ramen world in my opinion... granted it's all instant noodles for broke, efficient sustenance... but if you love yourself... branch out. Your tastebuds deserve it.

Are all the flavors prepared like Mi Goreng? As in draining the water after 3 min and served dry?

Yaps... The 4 Flavors are Mi Goreng and 2 is like a soup. The taste is originally same like in Indonesia. That's make me miss home

Are these all gluten free rice noodles?

No, but all of the seasonings are gluten free except for the soy sauce (it has the ingredients for each seasoning listed separately on the back). I use the mi goreng seasonings and substitute gluten free soy sauce and brown rice and millet ramen noodles (these ones are great https://www.amazon.com/Lotus-Foods-Ramen-Noodles-Millet/dp/B00HKIBKQS?th=1) - Not quite as cheap, but it's sooo good!!!

What is the difference between frustration free and standard packaging?

Caution ,when you choose frustration free packaging they switch product!! Be careful I got a whole case of Ramen I didn't want and is such a hassle to return because I live in the mountains
