Raidou: Remastered – The Mystery of the Soulless Army Launch Edition - Nintendo Switch 2
Raidou Returns in Style — A Flawless Remaster Worth Owning Raidou: Remastered – The Mystery of the Soulless Army Launch Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 is everything I hoped for and more. Atlus has done a fantastic job preserving the heart of this unique title while making it feel right at home on modern hardware. The Taisho-era Tokyo setting is still one of the most distinctive atmospheres in the entire Shin Megami Tensei universe. The mix of detective work, supernatural intrigue, and demon summoning feels just as fresh now as it did when the original game launched. Raidou Kuzunoha remains a compelling protagonist, and the story unfolds with great pacing and style. Gameplay holds up very well. The action combat is smooth, with better responsiveness thanks to improved controls. Summoning demons and using them in battle still adds depth, and the fusion system is as addictive as ever. The remaster updates menus and navigation just enough to improve the experience without changing what made the original special. Visuals have been sharpened while keeping the noir-meets-occult aesthetic intact. It runs flawlessly on Switch 2—quick load times, no crashes, and polished presentation across the board. The Launch Edition extras are the icing on the cake. Whether you're a longtime SMT fan or someone new to the Raidou series, this edition offers real value, not just nostalgia. This remaster reminds me why Raidou stood out in the first place—and now it's better than ever. 5 stars. A must-play for action RPG and Shin Megami Tensei fans alike.

Soooo good
Awesome remake of an awesome game. If you've already beat it, there's enough new things to keep you busy. It does feel like it's holding your hand a lot, though. Useful for newcomers to the series.

Great remaster of a fabulous classic from Atlus.
Great remake of a classic title in the Shin Megami series. Atlus rarely misses and you can tell that care was put into this remaster with several nice quality of life improvements that make the game easier for newbies into this type of game. The mix of action hack and slash with RPG elements make the game feel fresh and unique among a series known for classic turn based gameplay. Easy to recommend for fans of SMT, RPGs, Action games, and detective mysteries.

Solid in every way
This is what happens when you put polish into a remaster. You get a good game. Much like most other atlus titles, Raidou is fun, the music is great and the story is interesting. If you are a megaten fan then this will do just fine for you.

A nice remaster that looks a feels good.
Got it on sale which was nice. A great classic Atlus RPG that I own on the PS3 however the Switch 2 variation looks nice and has some great QOL additions. I say go for it if you an Atlus or turn based JRPG fan.

From A Persona Fan
I have played every Persona game, on the OG PlayStation and the other Persona games on the PS2. My fav being Persona 3 FES. However I never tried the Raidou games which is odd because he appears in Shin Tensi Megami III. It's a solid game but I prefer straight up turn based games but this one is a hybrid turn based RPG. When yo go into battle you are on a square that you can move around and fire at your opponent and summon demons. My issue is i'm thinking Persona TBS and this one is different. The reason I give this 4 Stars is because it's not really 4K visuals whereas the PS5 and XBOX versions are. After I ordered it I read the game on the Switch 2 is 1080P even in Docked Mode. That said, the graphics look really good and it plays very smooth.

A nice throwback to 2000s gaming
It was nice to see that there was a SMT spin-off with action combat instead of turn based, I liked this a lot. Nice story with some not-so-shocking twists but the combat was very fun. With a nice discount I'd say you could give it a try
