Easy to use good quality
Great for binding signatures in junk journals. Exactly as described easy to use

Leaves black marks on paper
As far as providing a guide to punch holes, it does work. Unfortunately it also left black marks along the entire length of the paper (see attached photo). I am glad I discovered that on copier paper and not something more expensive.

Messed up my signatures.
It had all the parts it said it was going to come with. But, the holes are not straight so you can not punch the holes where they need to go.
