I'm not into streaming services, at all. I literally had both my Netflix and hulu subscriptions cancelled this year because I had to get a new debit card and I didn't care about renewing my memberships.Not to mention that I barely used either service (especially hulu) because Youtube has become my replacement TV for the most part, but the thing is is that I'm been on Youtube way more than usual, these days and I want to take a break from it.Two good friends of mine got me into DVDs and Blu-rays a year ago and while I mainly use my PS3 to watch them, I wanted to have a device that at least, lets me play my DVDs anywhere in a nice form factor, so I bought this.I've had this thing for a few months to see how it fares and so far, I'm pretty happy with it. Playing DVDs and Music CDs on this little guy all work pretty well, although I haven't tested any discs from other regions nor have I tested all the other features that this thing has to offer yet.But aside from that, the device itself looks and feels like a solid piece of tech (and I love the color, but that's just me. ;)Anyway, the buttons on this device feel great and are easy to understand, the speakers on this thing impressed me with how loud they can get, and while I'm not into screen resolutions whatsoever, the screen on this thing looks pretty good, too.- Final ThoughtsOverall, I recommend getting this. To me, there's something special about devices like these and I'm glad that there’s companies out there that actually care enough to still make these, even years later.It's nice to use this in bed and even in my car when I'm on break at work and looking to kill some time without relying on my phone and Youtube to do so.Obviously, this thing is bigger than a smartphone and bringing physical CDs anywhere is never going to be as convenient as everything just being digital on your phone, but for me personally, I don't care.The only major benefit of digital media IS convenience, but that doesn't mean that it's always going to be there when you need it, as I experienced that myself in the past with streaming services.- Edit: 12/30/2024I still like this thing, but in the few months that I've used it, I have experienced a few problems.There are times where the player doesn't want to play my DVDs whether it be not at all, or random cuts to the video will happen while playing, even though the discs are in pristine condition.When this happens, I have to stop the player, take the disc out, then put it back in and that usually solves the problem, but it's still weird and annoying to deal with when that problem comes up.Granted, I don't use this player 24/7 and I make sure to give this player a break (namely when watching a TV series, I'll turn it off after watching two to three episodes and I'll turn it off after watching one movie), but still.

I bought this DVD player and noticed it didn't come with a case for headrest in the vehicle, I thought it simply was missing so I emailed the seller to let them know about this,seller was VERY responsive and made me aware of the fact that this does NOT come with the case,it a tu has to be purchased separately, but duo to the confusion they were willing to send me one as a gift. I think that is pretty awesome and does show how much they care about their customersAs for the DVD player I have to say it's a pretty cool item,I bought it for my 5 year old son who loves to watch movies in the car when we're driving, picture is clear and speakers are pretty loud,I didn't think they were going to be that loud to be honest. Good quality and inexpensive item!!I will update once the seller contacts me back with a shipped status of the case for the DVD player. 😁UPDATE:Seller did ship a case for the dvd player,once I received it I realized it was bigger than the actual DVD player,I contacted the seller and they did ship another case and this one does fit perfectly!Very satisfied with my dvd player,case headrest holder and excellent communication from seller. Got this for long car rides so my daughter can wear headphones when watching DVDs since I don't need to monitor her as i do on certain apps. We tried it out and the sound was something to be desired. We had to put a speaker into the jack to correct it. Hoping it works well hooked up to our projector, seems pretty versatile and the picture on kids movies is good. I totally forgot the feeling of bumping a cd walkman that wasn't antiskip back in the day and this feels like a throwback to that. DVDs are becoming nostalgic but I love that.

Very satisfied with size, portability and picture quality. Perfect for watching DVDs anywhere I go. I love the fact that it is small, but still has a great picture, and does not take up a lot of room. Would recommend to a friend.

Seems like a great dvd player - ordered two for my twins for our roadtrip. Need the connecting piece to be able to put it on our car headrest for my kids, so hoping upon leaving a review we will get that for free as stated. Good size, easily transportable, looking forward to using it.

Compact little device with quite a volume output. Sound so far is clear and the picture quality is clear as well. My son is 3.5 and already is figuring out how to work the unit- which is key because I got this as a traveling companion on our long roadtrips. Overall seems like a good product for the amount paid. My son has already dropped it (on carpet though) and seems relatively durable and not easy to break (fingers crossed). Overall, satisfied so far with purchase!
