Sony Cyber?Shot RX10 IV with 0.03 Second Auto-Focus & 25x Optical Zoom (DSC-RX10M4)

I tried an inter-changeable lens camera a few years ago and never learned to like it, so went back to using a bridge camera and chose this top-rated one in 2021. With it, I can take good pictures of birds at maximum optical & digital zoom as well as tack-sharp macros and everything in between. The menus can be a bit intimidating at first, but after trying several different settings, settled on my favorites and use them for 99% of my photos. For the other 1%, I take a look at the manual. It is hard to imagine any option that this camera lacks.Sadly, I dropped my 2-year-old Sony RX10m4 onto concrete. First time in many years of taking pictures that I fumbled when attaching it to my monopod. Given a choice between spending nearly $500 plus parts to get it repaired, I decided to buy a second new camera of the exact same model. Did I mention I love this camera? And from now on, I will sit or kneel when attaching the camera to monopod or tripod because my reflexes just aren't what they used to be. No fault of the camera.

I love everything about this camera. I've been using SLR cameras for years and this all-in-one camera is the best thing I've ever seen. Lightweight very good zoom even the digital is excellent in detail.Lightweight and it's easy to use

I liked the camera. I got a renewed camera and the viewfinder didn't work. But the seller promptly issued a refund. I needed it fast for a trip so I had to buy a new one at BH Photo to replace this failed one.

Defective item and seller does not respond to request to fix the problem. The worst experience I have ever experienced on Amazon.

The Cyber Shot makes a great travel camera. The autofocus works well most of the time, but when shooting a small object (like a bird) it sometimes can’t locate the subject. If the camera came with a slightly larger capacity battery, that would be a big improvement. I knew before I bought the camera that the noise level at higher ISO was problematic, and it is. Bright daylight photography - no problem.The lens has a very good range from a moderate wide angle to the equivalent of a 600, and more if the quality of the digital zoom images is acceptable to you. I turned off the digital zoom. Seemed like those photos were fuzzy.

Because it was from 'Amazon Renewed Store', I knew it would not have a Sony US Warranty. The 90-day Amazon warranty sealed the deal.Have yet to recognize any physical blemishes and suspect that this may have been an 'open box' from outside the US, which would have meant no US Warranty when new. Delivered in a Sony box with Sony accessories, including battery.Latest 2.0 firmware had been installed.Extremely pleased.

I attended a basketball game and took awesome pictures with this camera sitting in the third level of the arena! This camera does the job! I tried 600mm and the pictures were crisp! I could not believe how nice the pictures came out! I love sports and I love to take pictures for fun! This camera does everything my dslr does without the need to carry multiple lens!

I am much happier with my older Sony DSLRs.
