Awesome Feeder
I can say I love this feeder!!! I waited a month to do the review so I could make sure nothing went wrong. This feeder is SO easy to use and so easy to clean!! Setting the feeding times was simple and also easy to adjust. It keeps our cat's food cold and works perfectly, so that he is fed through the night.

Disability friendly feeder until it isn't.
FINAL UPDATE: The reason for 1 Star. I will leave the rest as is so you can see the changes over time and why. The machine is finally to such a point where it malfunctions more than it opens. I read "failed" or "timed out" more than the sound of a successful opening, now it times out for so long that I have to unplug it and hope that it might open before I have to scoop the food out and into a bowl instead. The rotating disc is now for some reason crooked, it no longer lines up with the opening lid as it did just days prior. I've had to unplug it every single morning just to get it to maybe work, as it's just gotten worse and worse, I've had it for less than a single year and it's already doing this despite impeccable cleanings, unacceptable. I finally factory reset it, I even tried to move it to another wifi to see if it was just not working in that area, neither of these things made a single difference. I am severely disappointed in the quality of this feeder, it can't be right that it broke down so quickly. What started as an amazing dream for someone in a wheelchair, turned into a nightmare, where I have to be vigilant instead of trusting the feeder. Attached is a picture of what has become a daily occurrence. And finally, their customer support is awful, I tried giving them a chance to make it right by replacing it, it's only fair when it is has clearly been malfunctioning since day one. The response I got was awfully fast, it felt automatic, they asked for extra information, such as the type of dish, and the response I got after this wasn't a proper solution. Despite having made it very clear that there's no solution, they STILL sent me the exact same list of things to do, as I had been doing almost daily just to get it to not keel over. Then they had the audacity to tell me to record the feeder doing what it is doing, so they clearly want me to go buy a phone, to record my feeder and their app malfunctioning. This is both an expensive and ridiculous way of doing things, the way it all sounds copy pasted is infuriating, I don't feel like a real person actually read my support message or they wouldn't have told me to redo all the things I already did. My poor cat. - I will never buy from this company ever again. CRITICAL UPDATE: The reason for 3 stars. - Suddenly, it will stop opening without any kind of warning or previous signs of malfunction, like a worsened variation of what I described previously, this can happen anytime, to my surprise it happened AGAIN right after I went to take care of someone else's pet, and had roommates oversee my cat meantime, this meant my cat starved for a while before the problem was identified, where I had to instruct them to unplug the device and feed manually. Imagine if nobody had been home, or didn't know the machine and just assumed it was opening. This is outrageous. This device has one job, and one job only, yet it sporadically chooses to not do that job. This has made it very apparent that you should under zero circumstances put more than one day's worth of food in it, and can't leave it to do what it's meant to do. This is very sad. Update 2: A new issue has appeared, where the app doesn't give me accurate information, such as, the feeder says it is closed past its opening time, and when I go to check it, it is actually open as it's supposed to. The only way I have found is to cancel the entire schedule and restart, not even power cycling or clearing the cache fixes this. Update 3: It has gotten worse. I can never depend on manual opening or closing fully. Often I can sit and wait up to a full minute before it even activates the bell button. I have never in my life had such an unstable app that times out more than it works. No amount of resetting the app, clearing the cache, or power cycling in any way fixes this. It is becoming more and more of a hassle for someone who's mobility impaired than putting the cat food on a block of ice to keep it fresh. I am getting increasingly disappointed in this feeder, the more updates it is getting, the more new problems show up. I really hope they fix it within a year, or I'm tossing it. In the beginning, the cat was rather confused and began to throw fits due to the changes, as he is very old. What made it easy to train him was to put him in the bathroom, closing the door, so that he could not hyperfixate on what looks like the motions of getting fed and then causing him to expect it, at one point he became frustrated enough to try to break in, so removing the visual stimuli made a difference until understanding the feeder. When feeding time came, I would repeat the words "Food" followed by manually playing the "ding ding" about 10-15 times every time. Within a week and a half, he understood that the bell means "food." He now heads for the feeder when he hears the bell. I hope this helps someone else who may have a cat who is set in their ways. Criticisms: The feeder itself does have its issues, there are times where it would begin to open at the wrong times, and then stop opening entirely, I had to completely remove the batteries and power and do a power cycle to reset it. There's no scale built into the feeder, so while you can tell how long a pet has been eating, you can't see how much has been eaten out of the bowl without checking yourself. Condensation builds up every day, I have to soak that up every morning. If you have a cat who shoves food around rather than eating it efficiently, you will likely find food somehow forced into both the lid as well as the cooling element, this will give you more of a clean-up when you go to prepare it for a refill. They have added unwanted features, such as reminders to clean, because I clean it every day by default, I have to, to avoid damage from condensation. I can only set this to remind me as much as every 7 days, I can't turn it off, so it's just yet another spam notification that I don't want on my phone. They have also been sending in-app pop-ups with sales, when all I want is to open the feeder. I feel that this is intrusive and is making me less likely to use this brand in the future. I was never asked if I wanted to opt in to this, it feels aggressive. For the good part: Your cat essentially has their own mini fridge, which is fantastic, especially for disabled people like myself in a wheelchair, who are very limited in how often we can get up, I have set it to a time frame where there's no way I'll be able to miss refilling it once a day. This is a huge change due to my limited energy and freedom of movement. It is super easy to clean, due to the stainless steel, it is so easy to simply blast it with water and then clean food off, the food has been kept cool and fresh the entire time, so there's zero dried up chunks which are hard to clean, it makes a huge difference, especially for disabled people. It seems sturdy enough for a cat, mine tried to break in and there's no visible damage, not even cosmetic. My cat however isn't very destructive and a senior, take this with a grain of salt. There's a safety feature I noticed where, if your cat is eating and it goes beyond closing time, it waits to close until the cat is done eating, and doesn't shut the lid in their faces, this is very nice and thoughtful and eliminates the issue that litter robots have, where the cats have gotten injured, very happy about this. It seems quiet, I can't hear it at all over the vague sounds of everything else in my home. So, I feel I got good value for money spent overall (not true anymore, ever again), I hope that the things I mentioned are added or improved upon in future updates or later models. (Probably won't)

So helpful. I can sleep in peace now.
My cat is an absolute JERK and when he's ready for breakfast, he will destroy EVERYTHING he can get his little paws on until I get up to feed him. The biggest problem here is that he decides to start demolishing my house around 330 am. Broken glasses, dented and broken Vinyl Pop figures - you name it, he's broken it, all while staring me down until I get up to feed the little psycho. We got the feeder and I started it at 330, then did 4 the next day, then 430, and now 5. He leaves me alone to let me sleep and doesn't destroy the house anymore. He tries to get the lid open but it doesn't budge for him. He is a greedy little gremlin. The machine works very well. You download an app, and set up your schedule. It reminds you to clean it and gives you cleaning instructions, but it's very intuitive. I love it. I feed him 1/3 can for meal times to begin with, so the 3 meal portions is perfect. I would absolutely buy again if I thought I needed more. It plugs in, no batteries required. It keeps the food cold until about 30 minutes before feeding time, then it moves it off the cooler to come down to room temp. The lid sides open, he eats, and it even tells me how long it took him to eat his food, which is nice in case he changes his eating habits so I can keep an eye on his overall health.

A few glitches, but still helpful
I've had two of these feeders for a few months now and while we've had a few issues to resolve, I'm still very happy with the purchase. This feeder delivers food on time - I haven't had any issues with meals being delayed or skipped. The reason I purchased this unit specifically is because it was the only one I could find that is refrigerated. I hated having to worry about freezing and installing ice packs with the old feeders. The app is mostly great, but I will say that the meal schedule feature can be tricky. It's tedious, but I suppose that comes with the territory. One of my frustrations with the scheduling feature is that if you need to make a temporary change, you have to wait until the next morning to do so. For example, if I want to change the afternoon feeding time, but it is already nighttime, I would have to wait until the following day to make the fix. Meal times that have been completed are grayed out, even on the scheduling template which doesn't make any sense to me. Another annoyance is having to move the feeders. My boyfriend and I dropped the cats off at his parents house for a week while we were on vacation and brought the auto feeders as a convenience to his family. However, you have to unbind, reset, rename, reschedule every single thing on the app if the wifi network changes. A huge hassle. Another issue is that one of these feeders (I own two) will randomly stop refrigerating. I solve this by simply unplugging the unit and plugging it back in, but considering the refrigeration feature was the main selling point, this has been a frustration. Our cats eat mostly wet food and I wouldn't want them to get food poisoning. My last complaint, and this is mainly the fault of my own cat, is that he will pounce attack the feeder as the sliding door closes at the end of each meal. The door works similar to an elevator so it won't close if it senses movement or an object in the way. He taunts the poor feeder forcing it to open/close for long minutes as he performs his attacks when the door starts to close. This can mean the door needing to be pushed back into place or getting stuck and having to start a new feed session with an empty bowl just to get it to close. However, if your cat is less of a menace, I'm sure you won't have this issue. It could be helpful if the manufacturer could put something on the sliding door to deter little hunters like mine. However, all of this to say, the feeder works perfectly 90% of the time. Once you have a feeding schedule in place, you don't have to go through to motions of having to set it up. The feeder has a cute little dinner bell chime when it opens for a meal that my cats love to go running to when they hear. I love that you can purchase stainless steel bowls separately if you want to upgrade from the plastic. Overall, i would recommend purchasing. The consistency of the scheduling and the lack of clunky ice packs makes it a win in my book.
