Great flavor and texture
This is a product of Korea only ingredient listed is seaweed. It appears to be a nice clean healthy product. It is small dried pieces of seaweed that when placed in warm liquids plumps up to a nice size. A little goes a very long way. It tastes as good if not better than my local Asian restaurant that has the seaweed in their miso soup. I like that nice chewiness you get they seem a little thicker than what they use at my local restaurant. Super easy to use. Will definitely buy again.

Very Amazing Seaweed
The package size could be reduced to save plastic waste but this is my only negative. The cost is a little high to me at first but after soaking and seeing how much seaweed a small amount really gets you i was fine with the price. The taste is very salty and delicious when dry and after a good soak much saltiness leaves and the taste of the seaweed will arrive ! Womderful flavour , texture , and quality. I love the resealable bag !

A great addition to miso soup and more.
Unha's Wakame Seaweed Flakes are easy to prepare.I have been putting some time into understanding how to authentically prepare Miso Soup and learning which commercial Miso Soup mixes I like best. Part of this has been trying different add-ins.One item that can be both an ingredient & add-in is a seaweed called Wakame. Unha's Asian Snack Box Korean Premium Baby Wakame Dried Seaweed Flakes is quite good. There is a non-flake version as well. Both are pretty much the same, but some may like smaller pieces better, especially if you do not want too much seaweed in your cups and bowls of Miso.I subscribed to the flakes, but sometimes, I'm sent the non-flake version.Note: Some brands of Wakame recommend rinsing and soaking. You should test your different brands independently. I rinsed and then soaked Unha's for over 15 minutes. That was too long. After I drained and put it into my soup pot and brought the heat up, Unha's seaweed flakes were way too mushy and slimy.Rinsing and soaking it for 3 to 5 minutes and then putting it in the soup has been plenty for me.On my food prep agenda is to try Unha's seaweed in a salad. I have never had a wakame salad or any kind containing wakame.Unha's might want to make some recipes available to those unfamiliar with Japanese-style food prep and cooking.

Excellent flavor
I use wakame in a variety of soups, and this is excellent quality wakame seaweed. Pictured is a beef ramen with it which I made last night. I love that this product comes in a resealable package so that I don't have to put it into a separate zipper bag. I've been cooking with wakame for years, and this is a flavorful product which is well cut. If you're not familiar with wakame, you should understand that it is a dried product and will expand greatly in your soup. If you are familiar with it or looking for one to try, I highly recommend this one.
